You don't join religion on the basis of ideas. Religion is a form or rituals devised to worship power. This is fine, but not a way to develop spiritually. We are here to become better people and make this a better place. This entails spiritual development. Your spiritual nature must be fed even as an atheist. They may do it through a relationship with their 'higher self' or a universal field. A pagan may develop through communion with nature. As a Believer in G-d, you would probably want to develop a relationship with G-d.
What ever you call the creative positive force (The Secret?), develop a relationship so your spiritual nature will expand and show you the way to practice spirituality. It may be through a Religion or not. For many religion is just for socializing and feeling good about their self. For the spiritual seeker, it is a place to be supported along the path (or to organize proselytizing:o).
What I describe is called "good works" for Christians that show you are G-d's child. Totally another matter apart from "salvation". I hope no atheists or pagans were offended by my guessing.
Please work on spiritual growth and let G-d lead where She wants you to fellowship.

We all have to make up our mind. The question is are you thinking of changing denominations, or a complete change in faith, such as to an eastern religion? I would pose this to you. Have you studied the holy books and seen what they said, and is it true? I am a born again Christian. I have found what the Bible says about history is true, about biological things is true, and also science is true, even though it is not a text book as such, for these things. So since it is true in these areas, then I rely on it being true when it comes to spiritual, and eternal things. I believe God would leave us "instructions" on how He would want us to live, and the Bible is that. Can this be said of other religions...I say no, at least for the ones that I have studied. Think long and hard about it, as eternity is a very long time, and your soul depends on the right decision.
E mail me if you would like to discuss this .

If you are Christian, why are you "thinking of joining other religions"? I am confused.
Practicing Christians don't need to join any other religion.

It doesn't hurt to explore other denominations as long as they are Christian based. If you're thinking of changing because of a personal conflict or disappointment, think twice. Sometimes God will present you with a situation in your own church that needs improvement and use you to accomplish that improvement. Let your voice be heard in your own church. If you've only been bitten by the wandering bug, then look at similar churches. Many times God will call you to another church where he can use your talents. But in any case, pray about it. And then listen very carefully. God will show you what he wants you to do. God bless. Prayer Warrior Sarge

satin is attacking you obviously, now think why is there no other religion that get teased because of there faith and can i ask you three Questions before you make your choice.
1)why are you experiencing this need to change?
2)can you counteract any of these reasons or seas any of these reasons and still be comfortable with your self?
3)if you did change to another religion could you face spirituality toward your own religion
and remember this if you have reads your bible- many will come and pretend that they are me- and - love the God as your only God so no idols

I'm Jewish, so this is from my individual perspective as a Jew.
When I thought about changing faiths, I first took a good look at myself to see if it was me that was deficient or the church I was attending.I spent a considerable time working on myself to try to fit in where I was. It just didn't work out for reasons that apply only to me.
I'd suggest starting to read the bible from start to finish without any commentary and try to discern the lesson being taught in each section. Pay particular attention to how G-d behaves and the nurturing aspect of G-d.
Meanwhile, pay attention to the people around you. If someone is exceptionally good, find out what they do. If a faith is being successful for a person it is transformative.
There is a promise that if you seek Him, you will find Him. Notice, it doesn't say you will become Jewish, Christian, Hindu, or anything else. You will find Him in a place that is good for you.
G-d looks into your heart to see if you are trying to cleave to Him and G-d will help you in a way that is good for you.
May you be blessed in your spiritual journey.
