Fully, bru. In the Bible cannabis was used as an "incense" and check the Rasta view on it as well. I mean, if you are not being vulgar or facetious about things. Don't listen to all the prohibitionists who are so uptight they actually need a jay or two to calm them down---- (from an earlier posting)
"kannahbosim" was used as incense in the Holy Temple, modern translations translated it as sage or sandalwood or something but in actual fact it was err, well, mary janel!!!! This is why rastafarians promote its use as a holy herb......! With all the religious fundamentalists around these days it would be better they sit down listen to Bob Marley and take a slowboat...... LOL

I smoke pot (in moderation) and am a Christian. I also think I am a generally intelligent, mature person and do not consider my self perma-fried/a pot head/ a stoner. I smoke pot mainly because I have sleeping problems and do not want to take sleeping pills which can cause SEVERE addiction. Marijuana has a much lower risk of dependency and relaxes me enough to fall asleep without causing me to become groggy and crash. I have also found that it increases my capabilities when it comes to absorbing material. If I read while I am high I can retain a lot more information than if I am sober. Also, it increases my abilities to see the "bigger picture" when it comes to reading anything spiritual or educational (I am able to see a more detailed picture and grasp understandings I would not reach sober).I do not think marijuana should be smoked for pure recreation but when it comes to it's medicinal uses (to all those nay-sayers please thoroughly research it's medical uses throughout history) or to aid in some spiritual or intellectual manner (again thoroughly research spiritual and intellectual uses of marijuana) I don't feel it is wrong. It's all those 12 year old pot heads that use it irresponsibly that gives marijuana a bad name.

I put the question to you. Did Jesus in His example smoke pot? Do you not know that your body is the temple of God?
Seriously, are you aware that by smoking pot you may develop shcizophrenia or other mental disorders, would that be to Gods glory, ending up having psychiatric hospitalisation.
Perhaps I can recommend you some amazing reading, on 4hispeople.com
Read starting page 2 under Divine Interventions, the story of a lady named Candice, at the end of her story she speaks about her smoking habit as a new christian and how it changed. May God grant you wisdom and understanding in reading this story

To me pot is more of a spiritual thing than recreational. I've gotten really drunk and thought I was talking to Jesus one night too though, but that was Geigermiester, which has opiates. Than I had two people who were sober tell me they actually saw another person sitting there, but they couldn't see him clear enough thru the smoke to actually get a good look.
No, I do find pot to increase my spiritual vision, and reading the Bible high is amazing. Try watching the 10 Commandments, thats pretty trippy too. I hold the theory that there were wizards in the Bible, Moses for definate, and Jesus was sucha smartass!

Get some counseling.Illcit Drugs are a completely different species and is destructive to mind, body, spirit and brain. The Aging Process Increases. in accordance to the Trinity doctrine, Jesus is God, yet a separate guy or woman from the daddy. The doctrine teaches that there are 3 separate persons -- the daddy, The Son and The Holy Spirit -- who all comprise one God. If this coaching is genuine, there should not be any scripture in the Bible that portrays Jesus as an entity separate and distinctive from God -- separate and distinctive from the daddy, confident; yet not separate and distinctive from God. by way of assessment, be conscious that there is no scripture in the Bible that portrays the daddy as a separate and distinctive entity from God. it may be fully ridiculous, puzzling, pointless and contradictory for the Bible to constantly communicate over with Jesus as an entity separate and distinctive from God, if Jesus is God. however the scriptures you quoted do merely that. regularly they communicate of Jesus being on the final hand of, not the daddy, yet God, for this reason contradicting the Trinity doctrine. because of the fact the Bible is God's be attentive to fact, the reality that it so regularly contradicts the Trinity doctrine can mean in ordinary terms one element -- the Trinity doctrine is fake. (John 17:17) i believe -- because of the fact i think maximum folk have a minimum of a modicum of intelligence -- that deep down, many Trinitarians understand that the doctrine is fake. yet delight and/or a choose to slot in with the 'Christian' crowd compels them to play alongside, pretending or convincing themselves that they believe it. Many are for this reason in a state of denial approximately this falsehood. merely seem at how they answer the question. Many won't even handle the particular project you have raised, head on -- because of the fact they are able to't. Their in ordinary terms option is to forget approximately it and quote different so referred to as 'data texts'. that's not because of the fact they lack intelligence. that's because of the fact there is no credible and passable argument to disprove what the Bible -- God's authoritative be attentive to fact -- very blatantly exhibits.

Isn't Pot a mind altering drug? I guess in some cases its prescribed by Doctors. I guess my question is, are you still high when your done reading it?
I know Drunks have walked into a Church Service drunk, and left completely sober, and saved by the Blood of the Lamb. But they didn't go back to drinking.
I guess its between you and God and not for us to Judge. You need to pray about it and see what the Lord says.

No doubt, man. Smoking pot can enable you to see things in a different light and get out of your self. You become more open to unfamiliar ideas because everything seems a little unfamiliar.

Not at all. Effects of marijuana is entirely neurochemical. If you have 'spiritual' experiences, it's probably your conscience bugging you about the incongruence between your identity and actions - seeking justification.
Have a read on the effects of grass on the brain in the link below. It explains that 'high' you get as well as the damage it does.
