What's the difference between Mormons and Muslims?

How about that Mormons haven't spread death, devastation, and despair across the globe? As much as a body would like to disagree with their ways, they are a pretty peaceful sort.

All you need to defend yourself against conversion from a Mormon is a good slam of your front door. For a Muslim missionary, more drastic measures are usually necessary. I prefer a H&K MP7 POW myself.

It strikes me as a strange question, since the two religions are so different that one wouldn't know where to begin.

It reminds me of some children's riddles. For example, "What's the difference between a teacher and a train?" Answer: The teacher says, "Spit out your gum!" and the train says, "Chew chew chew." "What's the difference between a cat and a match?" Answer: A cat lights on its feet, a match lights on its head.

Such riddles, which ask for the "difference" between two things that are obviously *very* different, actually challenge you to think of a similarity. (For example, a cat and a match both "light.")

And I wonder if that is the case with your question. Perhaps you are thinking of some similarity between Mormons and Muslims, and wondering if the rest of us have noticed it. Personally, all that comes to mind is that both are religions beginning with "M," and both are widely misunderstood. But I'm sure that's not what you have in mind.

they are two difrent religons. i dont know much information about muslims, but i know about mormons, i was married to one once.
