Yes, I think there is more than a strong possibility that intelligent life exists somewhere in our galaxy, and if not in the Milky Way then somewhere in one of the other galaxies of the universe.

I believe there may be. I also realize we will probably never know. The age of the universe is 13.7 billion years old. The age of earth, 4.5 billions years old. In other words, there are worlds that may have 8 billion years on us, or twice the age of the earth. Who knows what could be done in say 6.5 billion years?

No, I do not strongly believe that. I am certain that I do not have the answer to life outside of planet Earth. I suspect it exists elsewhere but lack evidence at this time.

strongly? i don't know too many atheists willing to make a leap of faith as to say they strongly believe that....

i think it is highly possible. you have to remember that there are billions of solar systems....and we've only been to one...and there was life here. 1 for 1. if we interpolate the data...odds are there is a lot of life out there. i think we'd be pretty arrogant to think we are the top of the iceberg.

for all we know, we are the very bottom

I wouldn't be shocked to find that was true, but what you have to realise is that atheists don't strongly believe anything until there's hard facts. That's why we don't believe in God.

mellenium? Millenia

It's possible, mathematically, but the chances are that we will never find out. Wait - even that is possible, too.

No evidence yet, though. Much the same as a supposed god.

I don't strongly believe anything without good evidence.
But I certainly think it is a possibility because we are evidence that life IS possible under right conditions.

No - I don't strongly "believe" anything for which there is no solid evidence however I am willing to entertain it as a possibiltiy.

If I encounter it with a million other people than I would strongly believe it.
