There is a pulse in the foot, the dorsalis pedis. If you're worried, the issues are probably your heightened awareness of it and your anxiety. These might have been caused by the antidepressants because the brain chemistry of anxiety and depression are similar and there can be effects the opposite of what's intended. Some people do get bad reactions off them, but it could equally well be something else. Even so, i really think the issues are anxiety and your acute consciousness of the pulse. Try not to worry. I expect you need your dose adjusting.

You have pulse points all throughout your body...it's just that now you are feeling it in your foot. It's probably related to the meds you are on and most likely not dangerous. Check with your doctor if you are really concertned.
PS - You can also feel your pulse under your jaw, in the armpit, groin.etc. This is normal.

You're NOT dying!
Of course you feel a pulse in your foot. There's blood pumping through it. It's supposed to do that. If it didn't, your foot would die.
However, if the antidepressants are bothering you that much, maybe they aren't the right ones. Check with your doctor, and if you're really disturbed, and think you need EMTs, call 911, and get someone to help you.
Take care.

See....when your heart beats it sends blood to all of your various organs. Feeling a pulse in your foot is a GOOD thing.
You may want to go and have your blood pressure checked, though.

Some anti depressants cause an increase in heart rate which takes some getting used to, and make weired things like that happen initially. It should go away.

you're not dying lol. that's just your pulse. obviously your heart rate has increased due to this medication, so maybe go have that checked to see if everything is normal. read the label to see if the medication is connected to any sort of cardiac disease. if so, consult your doctor ASAP.
