It actually depends on the aircraft. I am a pilot on the BAe 146. I would say approx half the aircraft operated by my company have a row 13 and half dont.

Yes, and I use it regularly.
I can't remember which aircraft it is but row 13 has a bulkhead in front of it therefore giving extra legroom.
Its also right next to the wing escape doors :o))

Yes and no, depending on the airline.

As the article points out, many people are superstitious to some degree of certain numbers and just don't want to sit there, so quite a few airlines don't bother - they just jump straight from row 12 to row 14.

Most Boeing aircraft don't have a row numbered "13", they just skip this number and go from "12" to "14". Airbus do.

Depends on the type of aircraft. They're not going to take away that many seats just because of superstition (did I spell that right?) They are trying to pack all the planes and take up as much space as possible to save money, so yes they do overall.

Even if it is not numbered. there is always a 13th row, but it would be numbered 14. But whats the problem. Nothing wrong with number 13.

Depends on the airline.
Continental doesn't use row 13.
Alaska Airlines does.

Yep. At least on the JetBlue airbus I took to Oakland and back as I sat in that row both ways.
