My personal belief is that per individual there is one true soulmate. That is why God wants us to make vows at our wedding, vowing to stay until death seperates us. As for another soulmate, there may be one after someone loses their spouse through death.

No, not in my opinion. Personally, I think some people aren't meant to have romantic relationships with others. I think it's highly likely that, regardless of a person's appearance and non-physical characteristics, there is at least one person in this world who is (or would be) attracted to that person. But I don't think there is "really one person out there for everyone."
Those who are giving thumbs down: I implore you to consider the fact that the poster asked for people to share what they BELIEVE and that users are doing as such. This is not a question intended to seek facts.

No, not really. I think God/dess has a spiritual path for everyone; however, sometimes a person receives a call from the Lord that requires total immersion, and these are meant to be alone. An example of this is Mother Teresa...a husband would have diverted her attention away from the spiritual path she was to walk.
And then...
Sometimes a person makes the choice on their own to deviate from the path.

Hi there,
No, that is not so, there are many out there which will appeal to you physically, emotionally and spiritually.
You will recognize such a person and it is up to the individual not to choose instaed to leave it up to God to choose for He knows you and He knows what you need.
So, if you are still waiting for mr/ms right, relax God is in control and He knows what is best.
Take Care
Thinking back there were a couple of guys that I could have been very happy with, but I choice not to go that route.
It is my opinion that we as humans make it very difficult for God to provide us with a life partner, for we are to choosy

Yes I certainly do. God took a rib from Adam,to create a woman "just for him," (a part of him). He took a rib so that the woman ,created from that rib, would be held closely there by Adam, and protected;at the same time,...she "completed" Adam.
Incognito, your nickname doesn't astonish me as I review your answer,as well as your "bio."
It seems you have bumped your head on something and are a bit confused. You have 4 cats, and you name 3 of them? You offer more inconsistencies all along your merry way. Please,I urge you to be careful in your ministry.

No. I believe we are all compatible with a number of people, there is no one soul mate for each person. Otherwise, what if your "soul mate" lived on another continent, or in another century.
I have been married twice, and each time it has been wonderful and I felt I had married my soul mate. So there are at least two men out there for me!

when we all lived in villages, most of us found that special one in our local village (or in a village nearby).
when people began to live in cities they found the one and only either in their own city or in a city they could reach easily by the local stagecoach.
when the railways came people began to discover their soulmate in the same country, but rarely in the same street.
for all of us, there are many that we could live with successfully (if we try hard enough); though there are many more that we can't.

No, there is usually more then one person. The trick is learning to stick with the one you got.
