Muslims believe Jesus was just another prophet like Muhammad. They would certainly do nothing to insult other religions (except for terrorists, which most Muslims are not terrorists). They do not believe Jesus was the Messiah like Christians do. However, when God is blasphemies, some Muslims, Christians, and Jews might be angered and protest or burn down infidel embassies.

The reason is the christians make fun of their Jesus not the Jesus of Muslims , and Muslims beleive that Jesus didn´t died on cross he was taken up alive and will return back before resurrection, so christians shuld have brains before doin anything, how can they have brain they are ignorants... About muslims they are more dutiful towards their lord and towards all prophets from Adam to Abraham to Moosa to Jesus to the last prophet Muhammed peace be upon them.

Jesus, in the eyes of Islam, was one of several prophets of God...but not the most important one. Mohammed is their favorite. For some bizarre reason, they somehow think that certain things are offensive to him and react poorly...even though he is just as dead as any other man, and hence cannot possibly be insulted.

Their personal identities are so wrapped up in their religion, however, that any "insult" (to Mohammed, to Allah, to Islam) is regarded as a personal insult...and they react accordingly, though with more intensity than is considered acceptable in the West.

Just like Christians who get incensed every time a movie, book, or scientific theory comes out that questions their faith.

Because in Islam, Jesus is not God. In fact, Jesus IS not God, he's supposed to be the SON of God, but really, no more than any of us consider ourselves to be His children.

Those radicals burn down stuff because Allah or God has been blasphemed.

Good point.

to Islam, Jesus was just an ordinary prophet.\

Muhammad was THE prophet.
