I just got a little '88 z31 and i was thinking about doing a couple of high performance modifications, it's not too bad , but i would like some opinions.

Sustained High rpm's make sure it has a fresh timing belt. 88 Z-31 were a little under powered but so are corolla sr5's.

It's a good car, but not really an excellent choice for drifting. Probably your best investment in a drifter would be the ever-popular 240SX.

It is a front wheel drive. You need to make it a rear wheel drive before you can think about taking it out for ANY kind of drifting...

yea thats a good car to start with that would be a good drifting car!
