If a group of employees are on their break and in the break room, and the common topic is religion (any and every faith) is there anything wrong with that. If an atheist employee joins these conversation, and the others do not agree with his statements or do agree with them; does that necessarily mean that the atheist is right and the others are wrong/ the atheist is wrong and the others are right?

Should the religous coworkers adapt their converstation on their break time to please another. The same could be said if a bunch of atheists were having a conversation.

It's okay to discuss religions, beliefs, and non-beliefs if it can be handled in a mature and respectful fashion. If there are people ready to mock you, disrespect your beliefs, or only want to start a debate or arguement you may want to end the group discussions until you are around people with open minds.
Nobody is ever right or wrong-But it's better to say things like "I believe in" or "In my religion" and "That's an interesting point, and in my belief we think such and such a way " and so forth..You don't make it a "My religions right and your beliefs are wrong" sort of convo.
I have some great inspiring convos with people on the topic of faith and differences in beliefs-but then there are just some ppl who can't have a real mature convo with without it being a war.

That sounds like bullying and ostracism.
You are Christians pretending to be broadly educated
and trying to embarrass someone who may not have a good education or is just outnumbered.
You really need to be right don't you?
And might is right.
The answer is you are a Christian of convenience.
You are only interested in being better than other people.

People that talk about religion and beliefs in public or in the work place as an open discussion are opening themselves up for criticism. I don't really care what people talk about as long as they are not shoving their religion down my throat. Just because an atheist's beleifs are different, doesn;t make them WRONG. If you told me that Blue was the best color in the world and I told you that I thought Pink was... That doesn't make me wrong, just different.

When it come to religion no one is right or wrong.
that is what is wrong with the world right now....
Don't get sucked into lunchroom discussions regarding something that is a personal choice. Someone (Any religious background) is bound to get upset or insulted eventually.
Play it safe and eat your sandwich, listen if you must but don't volunteer to contribute.

Well, everyone has different opinions.
i say..
dont say anything like "Your Wrong".
Because that will make you seem...Ignorant is the right word for it?
Ether Way..
I suppose its alright to a certain Point.
Just Don't bring down anyones thoughts on religion.
If your trying to convert someone, however..
i wouldn't say do it in the workplace.
but who knows..
anything can happen, ANYWHERE.
Wait, are you the atheist? or One of the ones with faith in a religion?

If you are in the building or in a work related meeting, then yes. People get easily offended these days and most company policy is against talking about it.

there is nothing wrong with discussing religion and an atheists opinion may be right on some aspect but I would be very careful if there are muslims in the firm.

Is work really the place to discuss your deepest personal beliefs? You risk alienating your co-workers. Not the best idea.

No, It's just a discussion. No one is right and no one is wrong. Unfortunately, some people can't keep this straight and get pissed off, or say something that they shouldn't (you're going to hell)
