Easy *** clown I'm a christian and a former marine and I do not support this war. There are wars that should be fought and ones that should not. Do not mix all christians in with fundemintalists or the religious right wingers. If you do then you are no better then them and are just as big of a hypocrite. Why dont you pick up that book and give it a once over and see how it changes your own life. It will not teach you war or separation, it will help you build morale fiber and make you stronger if you want it too.

I'm not going to badger you...

Sorry you feel that way to put all Christians in the same bad light. I for one enjoy the freedom to practice my faith in Christ openly here in America. Even if I am ridiculed by non-believers as least I am not killed by them.

The book being stupid however is just not true. In fact it is very smart. It knows everything.

The Bible written thousands of years ago explains past present and future. Much even a non-believer can read and see for themselves:

Think about the first thing that comes into your heart when you say Jesus Christ or Christians? Is it Good? Neutral? or Bad? That should clue you in on what spirit is in you. Even if you dont believe, ask yourself why you chose to badger christians and not muslims, or buddhists, etc... because the evil one is directing you to.

This world is ready for changing and you need to decide what side to be on. For the prophecy is being fulfilled in our days:

There will be a knowledge explosion in the last generation and travel would increase like never before (This is happening now with technology and planes ) Daniel 12:4

The bible tells us that a global order will sweep the world and force all those left behind after rapture to have a mark that will prevent them from buying or selling unless they have it. (This is forming as we speak. Can you see nations adopting to this in the name of so-called terrorism? and a global stock market crash...very easily) REV. 13.

The world is about to become a hellish unending nightmare for 7 years very soon.

The world is going to change in the blink of an eye. Don't be here when it happens. Jesus will not tolerate this evil much longer and will remove the evil one soon. He is waiting for you to let go of your hatred and come to him freely. Know that no matter what you try and do you will not have joy in your heart until you give your life to Jesus. Some things may make you happy for a while, but will fade. Joy comes within and is only found by the grace of God.

The enemy will do anything to steal your joy, destroy your heart, end your life, and claim your soul.

I pray the Lord will soften your heart before it is too late. Remember these words and they will come to mind when you are tired of living without peace in your heart.

God Bless.

Many of us have served our country in ways you can not even begin to imagine. We did so in order that the citizens of our country might be able to continue enjoying freedom. Don't you or anyone else ever forget that we deserve those freedoms as well.
When you grow older it will be your turn to take the place of our children who serve now with great honor. Do not let your own future children down in this. In the meantime, it might prove most beneficial if you would pick up a "stupid book" and read a little.

When the soldier goes to war he faces the possibility of injury or death. When you pick up the Bible you face the certainty of death that is to come. You have before you the standard by which you will be judged. The choices presented to you will give no comfort if you refuse to open yourself to understanding.

If you are asking do I like the war, no. You don't have to like the war, but it's important to support the troops. They don't want to be there anymore than YOU do. My son just returned from Iraq after being over there for 13 month's and returned with both arms and both legs. Others weren't so fortunate. My son saw first hand watch one of his buddies die right next to my son. As a parent, it was one of the most challenging ordeals I have ever gone through. As a Viet-Nam vet myself, when we came home we were called baby killers and not well received. I don't want our troops to experience what we had to go through when they finally do come home. And you can take the word "hypocrites" and stuff it were the sun don't shine. It's because of our troops that allow you to express such ridiculous statements. We are the land of the free because of the brave. If you don't like it here in the USA, just let me know and I will gladly purchase a one-way airline ticket to any place you want to go. One stipulation, you are to never return to the USA. I understand that France is looking for a few more sissy's. And yes, I do consider myself a good Christian.

jared or is that i'm more moral?

why do you start with such comments when you have no clue

do you wear a uniform of the military, do you defend this nation, are you more fulling informed ?

you sound like a 10 year old
in case you missed my play on words, jared or jarred was what I was indicating in the first line, it is a play on words someone like you should catch, but incase you did not

by the way, nice avitar

edit: Jared,
you really need to understand something. first is that at night you sleep very well safe in your home from enemy troops making an invasion of this country. the reason for that is any army that showed up in force would be met by our military.

i did time in iraq and by and large, a vast majority of the soldiers i served with were christians but not all of them.

since you sit here with no proof of your service i can only guess that you hate the republic we live in and long for someone like hillary to get in. she is a socialist that will tax you to death. or perhaps you want a islamic government where you are a pawn and fodder for whatever crime they decide to try you for.

christians understand that freedom costs something. in our case it cost the life of our LORD and God Jesus. it is therefore a small thing for us to defend our fellow citizens many in this day and age who do not share our values and belief in Christ.

war kills people. war kills good and it kills bad. i have walked through the debris feilds that were once cities. i know better than many alive today what that means.

my job is to keep people alive to include you in hostile environments where DNBI would otherwise kill them. in disasters like hurricanes and massive flooding, people like me do the leg work to keep citizens as well as rescue workers safe.

honestly, and i mean this truly, when you grow old, will you be able to look back on your life and know that others were better off because you did something ? that you life had meaning ?

you can call christians names. you can can be abusive. we will still defend you, protect you at all costs and treat you as if you are the center of the universe.

why would we do that? because Jesus lives in us, we can do the right thing with the right motive and have no thought of payment or reward.

others might treat you well, the christian will love you for being made in the image of God and being a fellow heir with Christ if you accept him, and a fellow human with us on lifeboat earth if you reject him. we all need one another and someday you will figure that out.

Excuse Me? No, I don't think so. Joshua, King David, and others in the Bible went to war against evil! We were attacked on 9/11 ! We are defending our nation from evil that have claimed "Jihad" on us "Jihad" means holy war. They have been swayed by Satan! there is nothing "holy" about a war that is began by blowing up two towers with innocent people in them! They started this and by the grace of God we will finish it! The same ones that attacked us have targeted Israel the place that God has favor with! Now, put that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a Christian, I support police officers carrying weapons, and using them if the need arises. I believe that war is a similar situation.
Sometimes, a police officer will shoot someone that he should not have. Same thing can happen with war - I believe this action is needed right now.
