I would hide in the Sun because the light is visible but not the energy. The human body does just as well: the person is visible but the real potential stays hidden.

I like this question.
I would hide in plane sight. In the friend that is sitting or standing next to you or even in the man that hands you a drink in a restaurant. Yes I like this question.

If I were God, I would not hide. I would bless the people with my presence, with my love. I would give them no room for doubt, and they could love and worship me without hesitation or uncertainty. If God actually exists now (which is highly unlikely, btw) then he hides, but I don't know where or why. I reckon he would live in huge cloud in another world. I don't just mean another planet, I mean a whole other reality. If you can imagine our universe as a sheet of paper containing everything, then think of the place where God resides as another sheet of paper, pressed up against our own. But this is all hypothetical, because he doesn't exist. Or at least, there is absolutely no way we can confirm his existence.

If I were God, I wouldn't hide at all. Instead, I'd reveal myself to anyone and everyone.....then let the Apocalypse begin.

I wouldn't. I would make it perfectly clear, by competent and unambiguous evidence, that I existed, and if I had other words of wisdom or desire, that I would express them for the better guidance of all.
