I never believed in God to begin with. I believe in what I can touch and see and which can be proven by science. I believe in real human beings with real feelings and powers all of their own. But I have been hurt before by people I have believed in. And if they can offer me their remorse I forgived them, and didn't reconsider the relationship. But sometimes you just have to stand up and smell the roses.

No because i read the bible front to back.Got tired of the pansy apologist BS answers.

I was mormon for 20 years, and christians for 2 years.
I have a very logical critical thinking mind.I guess if i did not i would still be "praise JESUS" or is it adonis,wait...is it mithra or ...dionysus...

You know all christians think we don't believe cause we supposedly got hurt.It rarely occurs to you that a person might not believe in a diety because of rational reasons based on proven evidence from the scientific community compared to the empty and often fraudulent evidence suggested by the religious apologists such as creationist.

No, I stopped believing in God because I realized that God does not exist.

No. I didn't stop believing in God because I'm hurt. I still do, I mean, all my life. If you got hurt, maybe there's a reason why. If you believe in God, you'll have a pleasant life!

No,and most people haven't. Congratulations on introducing what Christians believe that has no connection to the truth.

No, it is because many humans have and no benevolent god would allow so much pain and suffering.
Plus, I have physical problems which apparently are not repairable. If they were, your God should have the decency to tell me how to fix them, but has neglected to do so.

Absolutely agree with Rafiki.
I don't belive in god, and I'll never believe in god.

Do you know why ?
Not because I got hurt or something bad happened to me, not at all. I don't believe in god because of the "defenition" of God.

Thanks.

No; I never started. No one ever made a remotely convincing case that there was such a thing as a god. See:

I did once, but realized everything happens by his will, and I was a fool to forsake my Lord, and ask over, and over for his love, and forgiveness.I did see the light!

No.

It's because "God" is just a sound, signifying nothing. I can't believe in a thing so poorly defined as to be utterly meaningless and unworthy of my time and consideration.
