I was suicidal and then found out I might have cancer. I had to wait three days for the results..it was the longest three days of my life full of worry. When I was faced with the chance of real death, I realized I did not want to die and though I did have cancer, it was an early stage and I lived. For a time, it made me very happy I was given another chance to live and try to do it better.

I think a lot of times, it motivates people, gives them a fresh start, reminds them how precious life is and not to take it for granted as that and one's health could be gone in a minute..we realize that we could lose the things we have and this takes the focus from the bad things in our life to the blessings and makes us appreciate things more. It brings about analysis and makes us think about things we should but often don't think about..

For some his months for many, many years and greatly improves their life..don't squander an opportunity that is actually a blessing in disguise and appreciate that we are spared when so many are not..

I guess when we don't die but should have, it is not our time yet or God has some purpose for us to do.
