Hey all!

I am a Christian and I was thinking about it the other day at work, smiling. I was thinking about how my mother who passed a long time ago said "When I am in heaven I am going to dance with my new legs!" This made me happy. My mother had MS and her legs could not function as well as she would have liked.

For someone that is suffering (she ultimately died of cancer) I totally understand her desire to live free of that pain.

However, I'm 25 and I am in good shape, I'm healthy and love life (even it's difficulties).

See, as a perfectly healthy human being, I desire life on earth, not up there.

From my understanding of heaven, we praise God the whole time, and everything is perfect. That does not sound like fun to me. Honestly. I will praise the Lord, but I would get sick of doing it all the time. And additionally, I am all about life's little difficulties. Opinions?

Honestly, How does heaven sound to you?

PLEASE, don't turn this into a religious debate

The way in which you describe heaven is not according to the New Testament. Read Revelation chapter 7. Ask yourself, how is John able to differentiate between the tongues, tribes and nations? It must be because they still have something about them, their dress, their speech, their personalities that clues John in on the fact that they ain't all Palestinian Jews from the physical line of Abram. If you are equating sin with excitement, or obedience with boredom...I implore you to re-evaluate your self-identification with Christ. Even if heaven were only praising God, that would never get boring. But sin is exciting to the flesh...as long an we are in the flesh we will have this warped view of sin and obedience. Happy hunting

Somehow I believe heaven is created by yourself in a place that is provided by god. Imagine Hitler went to heaven, I'm sure heaven will not be heaven anymore because he'll be living a life with a lot of people hating him. I think what god is trying to say is if you do good deeds on earth, it will benefits you in heaven because all you get from other "heavenly humans" is love, not hate. However, if you do a lot of bad deeds, all you get is hate from others and you'll suffer for a long time. Well its just all my opinion, and I do always believe heaven and hell is mixed together on earth.

The concept of heaven was created many years ago as a reward for a life of hard work, long hours and little money or luxuries. It appealed to the uneducated who had little to look forward to and kept them in line.
All you need to do is think of something you love here on Earth and think will that be available in heaven and the answer is always no.

Paul made it transparent that the resurrection occurs on the 7th, or final trump. whilst the message of this 7th trumpet is going out, for the duration of this ministry time, the resurrection will occur. Then Jesus and his humans will take over all of the kingdoms on this global and rule it in righteousness. that is the achievement of Daniel wherein he mentioned the rock which used to be reduce out of the mountain (mountain of humanity), got here and stuffed the entire earth and grew to be a kingdom which shall by no means finish. This is the dominion of Jesus Christ, whilst he ultimately stops guy's messing up this earth and units up his righteous kingdom right here. The resurrection of the useless saints will take situation for the duration of this equal trumpet message. The Great voices are the ministers who select up this final message and convey it to the sector. These ministers would be the real Christians, in Christ there may be neither male nor feminine, however we're all of the equal. Anyone with the holy Ghost can do that ministry.

It sounds wonderful to me. Heaven is not only being healthy. You will be in the presence of God, and that will bore nobody, no matter what you think now. If Jesus were standing in front of you right now, you would be dumbfounded. You would want to continuously praise God and experience all the glory of Heaven. In Heaven not only are you healthy, you are reunited with your family and friends, there is no sadness, no anger, no stress, no nothing. It is 100% perfect, and even though you think now that you may get bored in Heaven, I can assure that you would not.

You said you were a Christian, that's great. That means you know about Hell. I would be honored to make it to Heaven and worship God forever. I don't even want to imagine what it will be like in Hell.

If you want a good insight on what heaven is like, then read, "A Divine Revelations of Heaven". If you want insight on what hell is like, then read," A Divine Revelations of Hell". And if you want to know what the spirit realm is like, then read , "A Divine Revelations of the Spirit Realm". Written by: Mary K Baxter. I don't know how it sounds because I am not convinced there is such a thing. If there was such a thing and it was so great, then the creation of the physical universe seems pointless.
