Why do all people think that WE, as Christians, have all the answers to all of life's questions?
We are merely human just like you...we have only made a decision to be a follower of Christ and to be forgiven. Yes, we have the bible to tell us how to live and about God's love and things like that, but why do you think we have all the answers about evolution and why and all that?
we simply have faith?
Why do you waste your time trying to prove us wrong?
maybe its subcontious...maybe you try to prove us wrong to make your convictions and stuff go away....
maybe you talk yourself out of the realism of God and the bible?
However, at the same time...why do we, as Christians, waste our time trying to prove non-believers wrong?
shouldn't we be spending our time loving others, making our faith stronger, witnessing, etc?

thats people who probably want attention and like to think they know everything. Don't believe them, thats probably what drives so many people away.
I'm trying to be honest with you all.

I think that some feel it is their Christian duty to convert the views of nonbelievers so that they have a chance at salvation. Others feel the need to defend beliefs that are so apparently true to them.
Those who question Christian's on their beliefs generally do so because they disagree. Like any topic, if someone goes against what you believe, you will try to argue. Atheist can not understand how one can believe so much on faith alone and see the faithful as targets of questioning.
It isn't always a waste of time trying to prove someone wrong. Maybe they are hoping for an opportunity for you to prove your point right or to place some doubt in a godless existance.
Some people need proof and many do not see the Bible as anything more than a book. For someone not raised with faith, the only thing telling them to believe that the book is true is the book itself. Imagine reading a book written today claiming to be the word of God. How would you know whether or not it was? Wouldn't you ask for proof? What if you denied it and it really was the word of God? What if there is more to be said then was already recorded? How would you know? For an athiest, the Bible is just another book and they need something other than words within the book to prove the validity.
Christians are not wasting time defending their beliefs. It can make faith stronger or encourage further Biblical study. Maybe you can convince someone of something that they didn't believe before.
Maybe you will be the one convinced.
In the end, everyone is just looking for the truth. Different people find it in different things.

I like the way you answer your own question!
Nope, I have never thought that ANYONE has all the answers, that would be terribly arrogant.
I have no desire to prove anyone wrong, possibly because I do not have the need to bolster my convictions. I do find it distressing that so many do exactly that (Christian and non-Christian alike)
A wise person once told me that "God" (or the Powers that Be) was like the top of a mountain, there are many paths to get there, none exclusively right.
The key is to be at peace with yourself and your beliefs. It really does not matter what others think.

Modern science and the truth that the whole thing is so handy at the moment has grew to become mankind into lazy a$$es. Even studying some thing over turns out so much too tiring for a few humans. Others simply appear to have a tough time with their spelling.

Right! Only God has ALL the answers. Some answers have been given to us and we should pass them on. But many times Christians do go beyond what has been revealed to us by God.
1 Cor 4:6
6 Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written."
(from New International Version)
Deut 29:29
29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.
(from New International Version)

Believe in what you wish to and be happy. However,if forefathers had thought like you ie loving others, making faith stronger etc,Christianity would have remained confined to a limited area and never become the largest practicing religion in the world .Just don't force your faith on others and you can do whatever you like and have whale of time.

1) get saved and God will take care of the rest
2)repent of your sins and god will heal you
3)Pay and God will reveal all
