Mashed potato bar. Reg, garlic mashed & sweet with your choice of toppings, cheddar, chives, sour cream, bacon, marshmallow, brown sugar, - oh i can't remember the others but it was awesome. It was displayed in large martini glasses and you filled up a martini glass w/ potatoes. It was during the cocktail hr.

Barbecue. A little different but still something pretty much everybody can eat.

I can't count how many weddings serve the whole italian pasta thing or the chicken breast with sauce and veggie bit. It gets pretty old. I know WHY its so popular and it's not gross...just outplayed.

Stuff like Chinese tastes good but is not universally liked and for people like me with diet restrictions normally means we end up going without anything to eat so be careful when choosing an exotic menu.

Chicken cordon bleu with rice. It was so good. Another one I had would also be a breaded chicken with a slice of fish next to it. I mostly enjoy food that I can recognize as soon as it's placed in front of me. When everyone is staring around at everyone else to see who's going to take the first bite, then you know you have a problem.

I went to one wedding where the bride's uncle was the executive chef at a fancy resort...it was amazing!

It's hard to pick - we ate lobster ravioli, sushi from a sushi chef flown in from vegas, traditional dim sum, juicy prime rib, and soooo much more.

Of course this would be crazy for most people to have at their wedding..if you're trying to pick and you can't afford to go all out, go for one main course that's REALLY good, rather than a few that are all so-so. And definitely go for good hors d'oeuvres -- people love them and they make everything look fancier!

My better half does what your fiance does, 'despite the fact that makes you satisfied'... I gave my guy a e book to jot down down ANY techniques he has, like having a image sales area for between the ceremony and reception whilst we've our photos taken. My guy is getting in contact in assisting elect the music because of the fact that's something he loves. My guy isn't into autos yet some adult adult males like identifying on the autos the bride and groom are transported to and from the marriage/reception in. i think of adult adult males could get greater in contact yet i think that's regularly the bride's day.

Pasta... With noodles such as penne so it is not hard to eat, spaghetti noodles are too messy.

Chicken fettuccine is the best and it's great with a penne or bow tie pasta!

I always loved the passed hors'douerves more than the dry chicken breast or pasta you always get for the entree. Like bacon-wrapped scallops, that kind of stuff.
