We DID create them because at one time there was no way to explain things without gods or magic. Now it's a lack of education, an emotional need or some other such thing that keeps them around. As much as I dislike religion, not all of it is bad. Praying or meditating can help people through illness.

keep dreaming but for as long as humans exist, there will always be a God! He isn't only our creator but our heavenly Father and we're engineered to seek Him and without Him there is NO happiness. We hinder our own happiness by ignoring Him and pretending that He does not exist. God help you understand

God placed the tree of awareness of excellent and evil in the backyard of Eden to grant Adam and Eve a decision – to obey Him or disobey Him. Adam and Eve have been unfastened to do something they needed, different than eat from the tree of awareness of excellent and evil. If God had no longer given Adam and Eve the alternative, they could have in fact been robots, purely doing what they have been programmed to do. God created Adam and Eve to be “unfastened” beings, able to make judgements, able to make certain on between good and evil. to establish that Adam and Eve to particularly be “unfastened” – they had to have a decision. God bless you. (*^ ^*)

There is only one true God, all the other gods are false. Almighty God creator of Heaven and Earth is the one who sustains us daily. The one who gives us life and a savior, that we might live with Him forever and ever.

God does have a place in your life. He there with you right now even if you don't realize it. I know God makes me happy and I could not live without Him, I am in love with Him. I'm so sorry that as of right now you are going to burn for eternity. I really do pray you realize God loves you.

"we" did not. a ruling class gave form to an ancient fear. wild storms meant someone was naughty. of course, naughty people would feel some guilt or shame and blame someone else or sacrifice a lamb or a virgin to appease the mighty one. no-one thought God capable of exacting his own revenge. today their is a lot of money in religion through tax avoidance and donations. charity is a dark hole people drop money into to make themselves feel better. I'd love to know how much people in the US give to charity.

We didn't create gods. Our primate ancestors did.

Stoopid monkeys. :) And all this time we thought evolution went hand-in-hand with progress.

They still are relevant to some. People need a crutch to deal with life and death. These people are weak and afraid. One day we will completely evolve from this need, but it wont be soon.

I disagree. And, you'll have to respect that. Unless you want to look like an intolerant, hate-mongering, bigoted anti-christian.
