that depends on you. personally i think it's bad. so whatever i say is my blunt opinion, and i hope you don't take offense by it...but i think that if you have a tv it should be in the living room where you can sit on a couch and watch it with other people (or alone if you've got the house to yourself, but it may be a good social activity). putting it in your room may: (a) keep you isolated from others, (b) keep you from sleeping, (c) take away from your sexual life / time alone with your spouse (or make your spouse or others in the household feel neglected).
edit: also, putting it away from the bedroom may give you more incentive to get up, instead of spending the whole day pent up in your bedroom (i've done this when i had a tv in mine, and i felt that it had a very de-humanizing effect on me, and made me feel more depressed).

Why would you want to put a TV in the bedroom? Really bad energy around this!

Not a bad idea if you like it. It's pretty common to find TV's in bedrooms. If you discover that it doesn't work for you and remove it, no harm done.
