I would choose Unitarian Universalism, because it encourages you to seek the truth for yourself. I've attended a couple of meetings; the only thing I didn't like was that, well, it's religion.

Well I used to be an atheist but now I'm a Pagan looking into Wicca.
So Paganism/Wicca I guess =)
Edit: What the heck, please google it! *takes breath* Wicca and Paganism are both positive Earth based religions, we are polytheists who worship many Gods and above all the Great Goddess, who is composed of equal male and female energies and is the Earth and the universe and is in all Earth's creatures.
We DON'T EVEN BELIEVE IN THE CHRISTIAN DEVIL OR HELL. *exhales*

I'd make up my own - strictly for tax purposes you understand.
Actually there is a religion that has about three platforms like honesty, a questioning mind and self respect. Or something like that.

You say if I could choose one religion, but then you start whittling down the choices? Why can't I choose Wicca?

I can't imagine an atheist would want to choose a religion- that's the whole point of being 'atheist' is that they don't have to choose.

Buddhism sounds good to me.
But then again, this question wasn't directed at me. I'm an atheist, not an athiest.

Buddhism - it's a nice philosophy. My second choice would be Catholicism, because at least they acknowledge evolution, and they don't go around Bible thumping everyone like Protestants.
