okay, so i like this guy and im wondering what i should think of this:
(his name's Tyler...i'm Carrie)
here's the scene:
me, him, and two other guys are all in a group talking. Tyler's asking me questions about myself, as if he really does want to know me better, when one of the other guys, jokingly says "hey Tyler, you want to get in Carrie's face, don't you?" and in my opinion, it looked like he freaked out. he looked all embarrased, and he backed out of our little "chat circle" and said something like "Woah, wait a minute!" but he said it jokingly...sorta...idk that's where im confused. sorry if it doesnt make sense...can someone explain this?

Well, maybe he is trying to get to know you better for a "higher" level of friendship, and your clown friends are making fun of this, you know how some times friends are...don't do anything, just smile and try to talk to him, and don't pay attention to the other ones...he feels embarrased and has nothing else to answer under that pressure. Help him out by being a good friend, and tell your friends to stop their comments, c'mon, we are all friends here....
You need to resemble a good figure in your friends's circle, they need to know that you are their good friend, but also there are limits to their silly immature comments.

Maybe Tyler already likes you too but has not admitted to the other guys, so the fact that someone confronted him aloud by saying, "You want to get in Carrie's face" made it obvious and more real that he may like you
....so it may have scared him from pursuing you.
I think guys are weird like that. Maybe in a few days he will show interest and if he doesn't that you don't want to be pursuing a guy that is not able to express how he may feel about you.

That has happened to me. It's just that he likes you and his friends are just trying to give him a hard time about it. That's just what guys do.
How is he when it's just you and him. Do you know him very well. If you don't, you will be able to tell for sure if he is interested in you. So try to be sure it because he likes you, not just because he wants you for a girlfriend because you are pretty.
It is possible that he was just trying to help you fit in and was asking questions because that is the nice thing to do.
You'll have to wait---and see if he seems to want to spends time with just you. Then you'll know for sure.

Well it caught him by surprise when his friends said what they said about him. But he is interested with you because that's why he's asking you all kinds of questions, so go up to him and chat with him and get to know him better

He likes you, and he didn't like the rude comment his buddy made, but the two of you aren't yet an item, so he couldn't react as though he were mad and still have his friends understand.
If you and him were dating, he'd have told the guys to back off instead of backing off himself.

He was trying to be nice and start a relationship with you and the other guys couldn't handle how he was getting a girl so they decided to be MEAN.;

I think he likes you and just got embarrassed by what his friends said. You should try to talk to him when his friends aren't around.

he wanted to get to know you on the sly without his friends 2 cents. and they called him out in front of you which was why he made it a joke.

His friends embarrassed him and what he did was try to play it off so his friends didn't do anything else to him.
