If he is smoking in your presence he is harming and possibly killing you with his secondhand smoke. If you have children and he smokes around them that is child abuse (unfortunately this is not against the law - yet).

If he has any consideration for your health and life he is not smoking in your home, car, or anywhere near you. If he is doing that, you should stand up for yourself and forbid it, under threat of divorce if necessary - your life is at stake.

Having said that, your husband is a drug addict and can't control himself, so you should be supportive and helpful if he is trying to quit. If he was smoking when you married him, you made the choice to get married despite his smoking. So I don't think you have a right to be too upset about it - provided he keeps his secondhand smoke away from you.

I would never date or kiss a smoker, it is just disgusting. Even if they are clean and use mouthwash you can never really get rid of the stench of cigarette smoke.

If you rather for your spouse to be smoke free, he must be willing to quit smoking. If it bothers you so much, ask him to smoke outside or in the bathroom, that what my boyfriend does.

Not only does smoking look gross, but it makes you smell bad and well....you die from it, so that's a drawback!

Smoking is nasty and a turn-off...especially if one is a smoker and one is not.
