Sure why not? Meet me between mile marker 103 and 123 on I84 in Idaho tomorrow between 2 and 3pm PST.
Mary - Gear Jammers it is! I frequent that place when I'm in this neck of the woods.

Sure! But it would depend on why anyone would want to? If you are asking the question in terms of identifing with such a person or accepting an invitation on their terms - then it is highly doubtful. On the other hand - all are equal before the Lord and He loves the worst of us. If your question is a serious one - then you might want to read and give some serious thought to Matthew 9:9-12 and then decide what a proper response might be.

You are so funny--I mean that I'm not being sarcastic. It's especially funny when no one realizes that you are being funny and they are trying to set you straight.
I don't know any--I live in the "South" and none of them have come out around here--they haven't come out to me, anyway. But sure, I could go out to Waffle House with any male hair stylist with good fashion tips, honey.
Ms. Ent Wife!! I am originally from Idaho and think you are trying to lead poor Donna out somewhere to Mt Home or Pocatello. . .well, the Gear Jammer lunch counter should do, I guess.

Yes, yes I am. I too, at this point and time am a Democrat. I am also straight for gay rights. I enjoy my atheist friends, so having lunch with a 'gay Democratic atheist' sounds like a lot of fun.

I think this gay Democratic Atheist share your exact sentiments. I think s/he'd barf just thinking about going out to lunch with a straight Republican Hypocritical Ignorant Christian. He or she won't do it and good for him/her. Whatever happened to "love thy neighbors"? You're a Christian because you follow all Christ's teachings, not just the ones you think are covenient.

I think I will go to lunch with a gay democratic atheist to lunch. Hell, I'm even willing to go to lunch with a straight republican christian.
The first would be me, the second my sister. We are great friends, because we love each other and respect each others beliefs.

It would depend on the reason for the lunch. Jesus spent more time eating with sinners, then He did with those who called themselves religious- you know, the Pharisees. Maybe if you had lunch with him tomorrow, you could lead Him to Christ- you wouldn't be able to do that if you stayed away. Just a thought.

Depends what the point of the lunch would be, my guess is that we deal with people like that all of the time and just don't know it.
Christians tend to forget that it is not our place to judge.

I used to do it all the time. The point of Christianity is to be a reflection of Christ and to love others as He did.
