A jew is a descendent of Judah, son of Jacob [aka Israel], son of Isaac, son of Abraham -- Heavenly Father is a desendent of non of these, so no. Jew is an earthy term and reference.

God is everything. He is a Jew, a Hindu, a Catholic, a Muslim or any other person that believes in caring for others above themselves.
Organized religion has lost its way. Maybe it never had it in the first place?
The Jerry Falwell's, Ted Haggards, Usuma Bin Ladens, Jim Jones and Jim Bakkers of the world have perverted religion for their own selfish gains.
Some of the perversions have been sexual, some monetary and some deadly. In each case, I look forward to the day that they have to face their creator to answer for how they lived their lives.
There are 72 virgins waiting for the suicide bomber. They are nuns with shot guns...
If Jesus were here, in physical form today, I believe he would be disgusted with organized religion. He would once again teach tolerance, charity and love for one another. Not rituals and some of the other BS religion rams down our throats.
I am generalizing here, but I love watching these people get dressed up in their Sunday best. Go to church and praise God. They are out of Church not ten minutes and they are gossiping about or judging someone to make themselves feel better about themselves.
If they are doing that, then they obviously weren't paying attention, they are frauds to their beliefs or the service missed its mark.
I as big a sinner as anyone else, so I am not judging here. But when I hear a Pat Robertson rebuke gays or Jews, I can only imagine what God must be thinking of them at that moment. I am just glad I am not them...

Wow. You asked Mormons and got a lot of non-Mormons to answer.
A couple of things popped into my mind. Father does not belong to a religion such as Jewish. He is the religion. It is his gospel. He is the head of it. The Jewish people were chosen and special. But they blew it. They got too high on their horse after the Abraham's covenant. They knew the promise to Abraham after his test. And a lot of them felt that they were 'saved' now just because they were his descendants. (Does that make sense?)
Another thing I learned in institute that has helped me. Jesus was the God of the Old Testament. Literally. So each time a prophet spoke to 'God', they were speaking to Jesus. Then once he was born on the earth, he prayed to our Father and fulfilled our Father's law. He sacrificed himself. After this, the Moses law was fulfilled and Christ left His gospel here on the earth.
Hope that helps.

Jesus was a jew in the flesh, but before Jesus came to us in the flesh, he was with God in heaven, and he was God. (John 1) So, two points: he wasn't always a jew, and second, only in the flesh was he a jew. The jews are the chosen people of God to be a light to the world as to how to have a relationship with the Lord. This is why Jesus came to the Jews, and dwelt among them as one of them. To teach them how to be the light to the world, and to make them understand just what that means. (Many followed Jesus, but some did not) Salvation was given first to the jew, and later to the gentile. That's the order God wanted, not because God is a jew, but because God gave jews the job of being a light to the world. Jesus was a jew, but only in the flesh (by physical birth).

No. All people that live on the earth, Jew, Irish, Hindu, African, etc, are all children of God. Their genetic characteristics and the culture that they were born into make them what they are on earth. What people are in heaven is an entirely different thing--we all relate to each other, we are all the same "nationality." Nationality and genetics is irrelevant in heaven. God is all races.

That is a wonderful question dear
If we believed that Jesus is His son so consequently the father is a Jew too
But dear Jesus is not His son.. God Has no sons nor wife no one besides Him.. He is completely alone in His kingdom.. He doesn't need a son.. He only send prophets to guide people so Jesus is one of the greatest prophets.. worshiping Jesus as God or son of God is a very big sin.(unforgivable one).
please watch those 2 flashes
