It rained the entire day of my wedding. Luckily when it went into the church it was only lightly sprinkling and I had the dress covered up. Then it let up for about 15 minutes for some outdoor pictures.

But as we were leaving the church it was drizzling again but I still wanted pictures in my convertible so we sat out there when we arrived at the reception hall and had the photographer take a couple pictures.

No big deal. Just a little water. Had to hold the train up extra high when entering the reception, and had someone bring me a towel from the bathroom to pat my arms and chest dry but that's all.

maximum folk at right here will say that it particularly is distasteful and that no less than you may donate it. I say it is your gown, you're able to do notwithstanding the hell you like with it. and don't get me incorrect right here, yay donations. in case you desire to donate, sturdy for you, heavily. yet do no longer provide another female grief basically via fact she might somewhat do something else together with her gown. I in all probability won't do a Trash the gown element via fact I even have plans to coach it into area of a dress. i've got already spent approximately as plenty on a dress before as I spent on my gown, and a minimal of i might get to positioned on it returned. If I have been to do a TtD consultation, i might stay faraway from shifting water, or something that went previous my ankles. a woman drowned final 365 days like each and every week after her wedding ceremony via fact her gown have been given moist interior the river she improve into posing in and the burden of it pulled her under.

during a "trash the dress" session yes. Once it dries they are usually OK or you can take them to the dry cleaners.

I wouldn't reccomend it before the wedding though just in case you do get a water mark on the fabric.
