He seems like a typical nice, sought-after guy.
Although according to you, you're his only girl friend.
You should plan a get-together with friends, and then cause things to subtly happen to get everyone else to not be able to go, then say that since you're alone with eachother, you might as well go on a date.
He may want to ask you out, but is too shy. In which case, you have to drop serious hints for him. but ya know...

The reason you are scared to ask him out is b/c it is inappropriate for a girl to ask a boy out. If he honestly cares for you, he will take the lead and ask you out. But remember, boys are more cautious and like to take things slow and easy. If I were you, I'd leave the aggressive hot pursuit thingy up to him. After all, he may not be on the same level as you are and not ready to go to the next level. Don't be impatient with him. Just let the relshp grow it's self and don't try to force anything. Don't you agree that is the right and sensible thing to do?

i know from experience that it is hard to tell someone you like them (i'm having that problem right now), but what you need to mainly consider is if you would rahter ave him as a friend, or a boyfriend (this is more likely to your story, I think). But I would still give it some time. I used to be intersted in this one girl, and i didnt really act on it at all, and it passed (pretty quickly too) and now we are best friends! (we've already decided to be friends forever... sounds kinda stupid, but still!) what I really think you should do is make sure that if something does happen with you two, (aka, go out) than you two will still be friends if it works out. but if you really like the fact that he is there for you, and all that, then i think it might be better to just stay friends. (and out of curiosity, how old are you? (not trying to be crerepy, just think it would help to know that...)

Ooh boy a typical, puppy love, (no offense), just be careful to not to fall in the temptation of a morbid curiosity or a torrid romance with infatuation.

It seems to me that you are already together. I know it's easier said than done....but sometimes you just have to go for it. If you are truly good friends, it won't mess it up, just ask him. Or you can tell him how you feel and see what he says. oooorrrr if your a hopeless romantic, lay a kiss on him!!!

Don't cull him out, just cause he can't remember your name; he may just be a little slow; then, again, he could be a little slow, mentally.

If you're afraid to ask, then don't. You should feel comfortable around him which you obviously are not.

Sound's like you need to suck it up and just wing it. You'll regret it if you don't.
