Ouch, you're in a sticky situaton. Braces cost a lot more than a dentist...1,500 to 7000 dollars sometimes. People say I look good without my glasses, but my family always say that I don't look as good with them. You shouldn't care how people think about you, if you treat them nice, they'll know the real you. But if you treat them crappy, they'll treat you bad and make fun of you. They won't care about your looks when they see the real you. Beauty is only skin deep. They'll look past your looks when they see the real nice you. No matter what. If they see the real you, they'll look past your poor family(don't feel bad. If you really want to know why, read the book :Esperanza Rising. Its about a girl who loses everything in very little time) and your teeth. Smile!

We're on the same shoe.. But I learned how to live with the gap betweeb my two front teeths and the other two messed up teeths that are at the side of each upper front tooth. I didnt let that get in my way. When I was small i use to get bullied but now that Im 23 ppl dnt even talk about them. I have 4 years of relationship with my husband, 2 years married. I have 2 kids and a baby on the way ^_^ I do gotta say I smile on pics but never show my teeths. I still want to get them fixed coz I want to be able to just laugh without being afraid of being judge! But for now I just keep leaving my life. (: Dnt let it get to u that much and be happy! :3

I have braces on right now. I'm in Texas and have insurance(that's why i got them finally). mine cost $2700 and that's for the top and bottom. When I had went to my dentist for the 6month to get teeth cleaned, I said I want braces! lol and he recommended me a orthodontist he knew in the area and went for a consultation for him to look at my teeth and one of his assistants make notes of whats going to be done. I gave my insurance card and my down payment was $700 and I got the X-rays and moldings done. Later I came in for spacers to get ready for the braces. My treatment is 24 months. In May '08 is when i get them off. =) My payment each month is $115. If you have a dentist you go to call them and ask for a reccommendation or ask your friends who have braces. Call their office and ask if you can get an appt for a consulation and if its free. and let them know
what price am i looking at? with insurance(if you have it) or none
what would be your montly?
How long would they want you to have braces on?
Would you need any other work done from your dentist? (such as: I had to get one of my teeth extracted b/c of the way it grew in and it would of been more difficult if i would of kept it)
its a start
Good Luck

From my own experience, my braces cost $4800 but were really good quality and also the cost provided the retainer that you need after your braces. In your case they will really hurt (like they did for mine!) but panadol or any other pain reliever can help

Good Luck anyway!

Take out a lone. It can cost around $1200, but it's so worth it. The amount of confidence you will have after will change your life. If you're over 18 you might have wiggly teeth for the rest of your life, and either way you'll always have to wear a retainer to bed, but I did it and I'm so glad.

Some do, Some dont. I consider it is dependent upon genetics and what places you reside at. I consider that is going for each and every nation. People who care for their enamel, brush daily and move to the dentist once or more a yr like they must, can have well enamel.

Please my braces cost around $2000. Was totally worth it cuz I had snaggle teeth like you. They hurt like hell but make your teeth so much nicer. And yea people are just being nice. Nothen worse than seeing someone smile with snaggle teeth. Do you look like Frankenberry when you smile???? I'm only kidding. My teeth looked like vampire teeth so I was only poking fun. I guess braces have gone up in price since the early 90's. Well good luck and try to find an orthodontist that takes payments.

YOUR CONCERNS ARE REAL AND IMPORTANT.
FIRST, IF THERE IS A DARK TRIANGLE SPACE THIS N IS INDICATIVE OF PERIODONTAL DISEASE.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IS MAKE SURE YOUR GUMS ARE HEALTHY FIRST BEFORE YOU CONSIDER BRACES. A GOOD ORTHODONTIST WOULD NOT GIVE YOU BRACES IF YOU HAVE ACTIVE PERIODONTAL DISEASE.
