I allways hear that nice guys usually finish last and that the jerks are usually the ones that unfortunatly pull all the girls and stuff. From what ive seen I cant help feeling this is mostly true as all I ever see is mostly jerks getting the girls. What do you think ?

Nice guys often finish last when you're a teenager. They come in the middle of the pack in college. If they're not taken by their late twenties, however, they have their pick of the litter! ;) Hang in there!

Just because a bloke who is nice finish last it doesn't mean that they are not going to get the girls.
Let me give you something to think about, most girls that go for a jerk usually wants to get that feeling of adventure and risk. However, nice blokes would usually calculate whether or not the risk outweighs the out come.
At the end of the day when the girls are done with trying to get adventures and risks, they are going to want to settle down with some one who is mature and stable, one that they trust to build a family and be happy with and grow old with.
I'm quites sure they wouldn't want to have to go with excentric behaviour once they are ready to settle down.
However, there is no such thing as a girl that would totally go for a jerk. Because most of the time when they have a relationship with some bloke who are a jerk, they won't get any other respond than "lets have some fun and you take care of me." In the end girl who have a relationship with a jerk will get nothing in return because that jerk would usually be a self centered jerks as would most jerks are.
Be happy and be the person you are, there are many girls outhere that would want to go out with you without you having to be a jerk.

I think it is usually true. I see it a lot myself. Nice guys just aren't enough challenge. They tend to be boring...They also tend to be predictable.
With jerks there comes some thrills. You never know what to expect. One minute they act into you and the next they are treating you like ****. Its thrilling. Its interesting. Its a challenge.
But I've noticed as I become older that more girls are getting sick of jerks and looking for the nice guys.
So in some ways I think its good that nice guys finish last, because they are the ones that well end up marrying [hopefully]

I also believe that a woman should finish several times before a nice guy finishes lol jk
any who I'm there with ya bro, nice guys do have problems getting the women from the jerks, mostly because women want a bad boy they can change!

As unfortunate as it is to say this (for i am a girl) we are attracted to the assholes for some reason. At first we go straight for the jerks, but, in the long run, the nice guys will win. Nice guys don't always, but can finish last most of the time. ( I try to avoid the jerks, but nice guys are very hard to find because they don't put themselves out there enough)

nice guys are perceived to be weak and weakness is a trait that women are not attracted too.. . It is natural for women to seek the strongest males as their companion... this is part of evolution, and now its part of the women psyche. They do not feel secure with a weak man. So, if you want to attract the best from the female species you have to show that you are strong, confident and secure. This is how nature designed us and there is nothing we can do to change it. You will NEVER be able to win a woman's heart by being NICE.
Also contrary to popular belief guys who are jerks are a lot more humble than nice guys. Most nice guys under the skin are egotistical who thing they are too good to face rejection. So, they avoid rejection at all cost. And being nice is one of their way to avoid rejection and protect their ego. When you are real with women you will get rejected many times, so it take a bit of humility to go through it. So, don't be afraid of rejection.. Don't use niceness as a way to avoid rejection. Face the music and be real to yourself. Even if this means being a jerk, go for it. You live only once, don't let the ego get on the way.

girls usually like jerks because the jerks are usually the one who is more masculine and more confident than a nice guy.. i mean, a usual jerk is confident because he already experienced ups and downs and he is ready for anything that will happen, like he's ready to be dumped or something... while a nice guy is usually a quiet and insecured person, usually the boring guys...nice guys are usually not a risk takers.. then more often, girls seem to fall for the one who is confident, than those shy,insecured person... anyway, it's not about being a jerk or nice guy but the personality within.. girls love those men who can handle them, men who are confident, someone whom they can feel secured with... and that's the one girls are looking for...

i see girls going for the jerks first-then they get hurt, rejected, and rebound back on the nice guy.
in my views, they do finish last but with a better prize in the end.

I know it's true first hand...
You, sir, are presented with a choice:
-Be a jerk/ assertive/ alpha male/ follow the dating advice, and get laid a lot.
-Be yourself regardless of the consequences, get laid less, and eventually find a woman that will respect you.
Just make sure that the problem isn't that you're not "pulling girls" because you are afraid to talk to them...
