Being a novice, I think I may have learned a lesson the hard way. I used the windows washer to get rid of some spyware and I unknowingly deleted ALL my pictures and a great deal of my documents. I am absoultely heartbroken here because they were pictures of vacations with my grandkids and its over a years worth of photos. Can someone PLEASE tell me what to do?

There is, if you don't save anything NEW to that hard drive.
1. Google search for:
file recovery software
See the example below:
2. Buy Spinrite ($$) from: http://www.grc.com This program is amazing.
3. Google search for:
hard disk data recovery service
This is not cheap ($$$$), but may be your only option if the preceding doesn't recover your stuff. This is for a dead hard drive.

there is a few ways, but they cost money.. u can bring it into a computer place and they can go thrrew ur hard drive and find the files, because they are not deleted, jus moved are really hard to find
