"There will not be a single drop of oil for the United States," Chavez bellowed to hundreds of thousands of cheering supporters in downtown Caracas. "And if they want to come and take our oil they will face 100 years of war in Venezuela."

LONDON: Negotiators for Iran and the European Union held a new round of talks Friday on Iran's uranium enrichment program, but the meeting ended with indications that the Iranians had offered no new concessions to ease Western concerns that Iran intends to develop nuclear weapons.

If Iran and Venezuela both cut off petroleum supplies to the U.S. there would be a loss of at least 10% of American supplies...now ten percent may not sound like much, but be assured that prices would sky rocket. Heck if Chavez or Ahmadinajad even look angry, these market speculators want to jack up the price of petroleum per barrel-- can you imagine if they actually followed through?

Oh yes, we really need the 3% of our total oil supplies that Venezuela provides. Most of those people down there would like us to take chavez out. We won't.
As far as Iran is concerned if we were intent on war, we would have hit them long before now. When they occupied our embassy that was a declaration of war. I have not seen a formal peace declared yet.
And China is just being China. This happened before and will again.

What you have to realize is the long term picture. Yes they own for the time being on oil. Even if we do not convert over to alternitive energy it the tree huggers have given America a huge strategic advantage. Due to their actions we have untapped reserves in ANWAR, and the Gulf of Mexico. Once the oil runs out in the middle east, and Venzuala we will no longer have our hands tied.

In some things I agree with you, but if you listen to news you will see that in Venezuela are riots against Chavez. Europe is not on Chavez side. If he doesn't sale oil well his country will collapse.

Iranian government is battling against America, but is losing war in her country. Many talented Iranians are fleeing abroad.
They have there nuclear program but it is not safe for them. I don't think they are making nuclear weapons.

Russia doesn't have the power she used to have. Her monetary policy is in debt. America is lending her the money. Russia is losing war in Chechnya, the only oil country in former USSR. Sore they have natural gas in Siberia, but if they don't sale they wouldn't get the money. Losing war in Afghanistan made her losing only natural gas line to the Europe. Russia is paying Ukraine transport to EU, too.

Don't look just for bad thing in America. You don't have to look he he he he. I do as you think Bush made a mistake witch changed the world order.

Iran, Venezuela and China do not make up the world.

The US (despite everything) has many more countries along its side than these nations.

I doubt the US is worried about the happenings in downtown Carracas...and nothing changes because of chinas decision to deny a ship entry. As long as the USA is in existence every country will try to or wish it was in its place...you seem to forget to point out a link that says north korea has begun to dismantle their nuclear program..i guess this would go against your propaganda,
