There is nothing boring about free will!
If we make the right choices in life we can lead very happy fulfilling and satifying lives.
Adam and Eve had everything they could possibly desire. And they could have had everlasting life as well. But they chose to misuse their gift of free will,as did Satan the Devil. They disobeyed Jehovah God and doomed all mankind to enslavement to sin and death.
This was not God's fault. He only asked for their obedience. As he does of all his creation. He will again restore the earth to its orginal paradisic condition and those who are willing to obey him and subject themselves to the doing of his will will have the wonderful prospect of everlasting life in perfect health.Doesnt sound dull or devious to me.

I think the answer you're looking for you will never find. You can always find a way to justify not giving yourself to God. If you don't want to, don't. Pay the price and be done with it.
God didn't have to give you anything...if you believe he gave you life, free will, love, happiness and whatever else, rejoice in these things and by this you will surrender to his desire of you loving him.
It's easy to want to ask why & be upset. Like the child that gets a toy but the parent won't buy him the 10 others that go to the set. The parent didn't have to buy anything. Is it not being spoiled to want everything? You want life & free will but not have to love & give yourself to God?
It's not that difficult, it's an attitude & a choice, not a reason to debate and hate. Leave that up to the evaloutionist that are looking for the missing link so they can justify their disbelief in God & creation
I wish you all the best.

Because free will is a prerequisite of love. The only free will God would want to take away is the ability to choose evil / sin. In our first life in the first earth-age we followed satan and sinned. Now we are doing the same thing today. We are again breaking God's laws / sinning. God said that " If you love Me then you will keep my commandments. But we didn't, so here we are getting our second chance. Doesn't everybody , pagans, atheists, etc, etc, etc think that they are good people . Don't they already think that they shun evil ? then I ask you , what is the big deal with giving up the ability to choose evil. It probably comprises only 7% or less of our daily choices . Who in hell (npi) would care? IMHO the absence of evil is the very definition of Paradise. God let me be the first in line to give it up. Since we have already shown that we have failed to controll ourselves it is for this reason that we should take the deal and live forever in paradise and be happy with all the other hundreds of free will decisions we make every day. May the truly wise understand.

Use free will not to go in the path of evil.
The reason behind is for God to show his love to us amidst a troubled world.
It doesnt make sense either if God doesnt punish those who go against Him with such faculty of having free will.

The claim is that he gave humans free will, not all of creation.
The problem is that anything God creates must be less than God, less than perfect. This allows for disharmony -evil. Without this possiblility, there would be no creation at all, since nothing would be differentiated from God, the only perfection.

free will can be a path to great love or great evil. To give you the capacity to love greatly you must also have the capacity for terrible evil. It's up to you to decide which path you will take.

Free will itself isn't the path to evil. Free will is the freedom to choose for yourself which life you want to live.

Why Did God Create Us Knowing We Would Sin Against Him?
Why would God create us knowing we would sin? The goal of this study is to try to find some answers to this difficult question.
WHAT IS SIN?
Sin is when we go against God's word or His law (1 John 3:4). We do this by either NOT DOING what God requires us to do or by DOING what He forbids us to do. Sin can occur in three ways:
-- THOUGHT (1 John 3:15)
-- WORD (Matthew 5:22)
-- or DEED (Rom 1:32)
It's important to understand that God did not create sin. God created a perfect moral standard and it was his creation -- by going against that standard -- that created sin.
WHY DO WE SIN?
Another point that needs to be established is that God did not create us as sinful:
"Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright [without sin], But they have sought out many schemes." ECCLESIASTES 7:12
But God did create us with "free will". In other words, we were given the right to choose wether or not we would follow God's moral standard. That is what separates us from animals -- which have to follow God. The problem is that all of us use our right to free will to rebel:
"All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" ROMANS 3:23
OK, so free-will gives us the option to sin but the question still remains: Why do we sin? Well, we can find the answer to that by looking at the original sinner - Satan. Read ISAIAH 14:12-15 & EZEKIEL 28:11-19 for the story behind Satan's downfall. What you'll find as the root of his rebillion was his pride. And it's the same with us. When we sin what we are really saying (even though we don't realize it) is 'God can't tell me what I can and cannot do. I decide what is right.'
WHY DID GOD CREATE US KNOWING WE WOULD SIN?
So far we have learned that sin is either doing what God tells us not to do or not doing what He tells us to do. We learned we can sin in three ways and free-will is what gives us the option to choose to sin.
God knows everything. And that includes knowing that we would sin. But in his perfect plan, He took the 'Fall of Man' and used it to teach us the greatest of lessons: How much He loves us. Let me explain:
The Bible tells us that:
"The wages [penalty] of sin is death." ROMANS 6:23
God must deal with sin because He is perfect. The penalty for sin is death. So you and I -- as soon as we sin -- are issued a death penalty.
But in His love, God decided to pay the price for us. He became a man (Jesus Christ) without sin. And died on the cross so that you wouldn't have to.
It takes a sinful, imperfect world, to show us how much God loves us. If there was no sin and everything was perfect and God said to you, "I love you so much that I would suffer for you and even die for you," how could you ever know that He really would? You couldn't.
But now when you get to heaven and Jesus is there and He says to you, "I love you so much that I would suffer and die for you, agian," Then you can know -- beyond any doubt -- that He would.
It staggers the mind to think that after we created this mess that God would even bother with us let alone fix the problem for us so we wouldn't have to be separated from Him. But He did and if you don't know Him as your Savior, then pray this prayer:
Lord, I realize that I am a sinner. And I thank you for sending your Son to die on the cross for my sins so I wouldn't have too. I accept Jesus as my Savior now. Amen

fake arguments. "free will is the path to evil"? you must make some crazy choices...
like any family, we can make choices that strengthen the family or we can do what we want regardless of the consequences or who we hurt...
God's will is for us to be family, unified in love and peace here on earth.
your free will apparently says that makes you a "puppet", so we must continue to deal with the free will aftermath of people like you...
