I was in a car wreck Monday --was hit in drivers and back door at 55 mph..saw car today..it was in shambles...brother said one second slower and you would be dead..anyway, after seeing car and having talk with neighbor..I had a long talk with God...tried to forgive everyone who hurt me or who I disliked or hated..told God to take control again 23 years after becoming saved and for the first time right after my mom died 4 months ago. I wanted to see my car at impound and see if brothers got everything from car (they didn't)..had no way there. I prayed and felt God saying to ask a neighbor that I did not know that well..I was scared to and would have preferred asking one of the neighbors I knew better but decided I needed to learn to obey God...btw I was upset that I lost car..need money as need to buy a car, new winter coat (they cut my only one off), money for ticket and lost Christmas presents(several bags blew away from two open cut off doors and broken windows when they towed it

the guy said..the neighbor was real nice and drove me and then I asked her if she could take me to the accident scene (in front of Walmart's) so I could see it (as I was unconscious through most of it) and if any of my stuff was there as the tow guy said they tried to pick up what they could but stuff was everywhere.
I walked to the site from the parking lot and saw all the broken glass and pieces of my car and found some bows and a bumper sticker that was loose in my car on the road. I crossed street to the other side so I could see if tire marks..it was dark. I think maybe I started to cry.
Some woman stopped at the light in a truck got out of car and came up to me and said "are you all right? do you need something or as ride? I told her I had a wreck there..she stuck out her hand and handed me a bill and said we felt lead to give you this. I could not see it..I thought it was a ten or twenty..I thanked her and told her more about the wreck and the miracle I lived. She had

to leave when light changed.. I walked back tot he neighbor's car and then had more light. I looked down and saw in my hand that it was a $100 bill. I started crying. I could not believe some total stranger gave me a $100 knowing nothing but that I was standing there.
Then I thought it had to be God..had I not asked that particular neighbor, I would not be there at that minute to receive that money (that I can buy a coat with)..it was god wasn't it? Showing me He is faithful and can be trusted (I had severe issues trusting God due to distorted view of God from childhood and all the problems in my life and stuff)..I had 15 years of problems..every day at least one problem many serious as soon as solved one, 5 sprung up ion its place..one day no problems after 25 years..then 2 days and then a whole week I prayed a lot for answers..at the same time all these problems I was using a prayer chain heavily..God answered 85-90% of my prayers often not like I expected or till looking back

years later but he was faithful..when I prayed to ask why these 15 years of problems I felt he was saying he was trying to teach me to trust him and that I could trust Him,,tonight He came through for me..please pray I can keep trusting and obeying Him for He must have spared my life for a reason..pray I can find what the reason is..but what do you think of this? Why did this woman give me this money?

EDIT___I must add to the story..I remember nothing of the accident from a block before the light till they were cutting me out of the car EXCEPT for one thing...I remember turning my head to the left and seeing a car barreling at me at a high speed (maybe 50-70 MPH) and the thought accelerate hard and I flexed my foot and floored the gas..this took place in the span of a second or two..next thing I knew several fireman were cutting me out of a car and I was trying to figure out where I was and I later realized that second..the only thing I remember is the second that saved my life..my other brother when he saw my car said five feet slower and you would be dead and anyone in the back seat would be dead..the tow guy said it too and I am all bruised on my left side..I had a christmas tree box there wedged between the two seats..no seat belt..neighbor said that box is why you are bruised and I realized without that box hit at 55 mph on the back and driver door I might have flew across

seat and hit my head on the door causing brain damage (I have gifted IQ) or broken my head and been paralyzed,,,I had no broken bones, no head injuries, no internal injuries..both air bags deployed...I had only 6 staples to a cut to the head, many, many bruises, and hurt all over especially back, neck, hip, and leg..I am so lucky...at first I felt unlucky..but after hearing what my brothers said yesterday after they saw the car and after seeing it myself today oh my..the frame was broke in two, both sides of car wrecked and shaped like a u and buckled, no doors and main door support cut, tire 60 degree angle..why am I alive and why am I not more injured..I did feel unlucky till I saw the car and reflect on my injuries and see I was so lucky..so lucky..my mom died 4 months ago and my best friend brother said I think gos saved your life cause he knew we could not take your death and mom's so close together...he would have cracked up as he loves me very much and after my mom he almost

had a schizophrenic setback,,if I died, he would have maybe cracked up..I feel blessed and even though I have had several great losses in last 4 months also much growth..I think this will turn out to be a catalyst to a better life and help me change some bad things and habits..I am so grateful..thank you for all your kindness. Recently God told me through 4 different incidences how much He loves me..things like people telling me he told them favorite and a beautiful person and some thing He said to me and that other said to me that god told me clearly was what He wanted me to know he felt for me and I was stunned as I always think He doesn't like me or is disappointed with me..I have been told by hundreds I am nice, sweet, kind and have a heart of gold..so maybe He does love me a lot and has some purpose for me...I am just awed by it all and trying to process everything..you people answering are so wonderful..I so appreciate most of the people of here and some of your words really

Once, I had someone, not a perfect stranger, but someone I had known only a short time from another part of the world, ring my doorbell, put an envelope in my hand with a large amount of cash and three plane tickets to another country to take care of my child's serious health problem. Today my child is a beautiful woman with no major health problems and I have no idea where the people are who gave my family the gift.

This was definately God. God knew that to get your attention, He was going to have to do something serious, like a car accident to get you to realize that you still needed Him. I think the fact that you lost your posessions but gained the money was God showing you that He gives and takes away. All we have is given to us by God and God can take that away. He can also give us more.
I can't tell you why you were saved, because I am not God and I don't know His plan. But I can tell you that He has a plan for you. Perhaps His plan is for you to share this story with others and bring them to the Lord as well. Pray and seek God's will for your live and you will find the reason.
The neighbor gave you the money because she was being led by the Holy Spirit to be generous and kind to someone who needed it.

Absolutely!!! It was once some thing extra formal, but I used to speak to Him some thing the motive and when you consider that I stored ahead to my possess ambition and wants, whilst He gave me avertisements I stored none and did my method going into increasingly trubles! Into an finish, inside a deep depresion, He stored my existence (!!!) the very moment I left away of all my deep wants... There, empty middle, I was once stuffed with God's Light and Peace and Love - a whole New LIFE, a brand new frame, a New Vision over the beyond and the long run :) :) :) Yes, He is my Saviour!!!

Friend, I want to join you in singing a song of Praise!! You have a story that can only be believed by those who were there with you, or those who have been through similar events! How many of us have had powerful moments in our life where we have seen more than one "coincidence" line up, to continue having more and more "coincidences", and at what point do we finally say "Ok...I get it..God, You're real, and You care about me?" She gave you that money because she felt led by God.Just like you felt led by God to ask that certain neighbor for a ride. That's an awesome miracle of God! I'm so happy for you. Stick w/ God and it will all work out. That was an amazing story!!! God Bless!!!!!!!!!!

Can't someone be kind without God being given credit?
Why do people insist to blame humanity for bad and give credit to God for good.
God wouldn't care about us even if he did exist. Fundie Creationism is misleading and wrong. The only logical creationistic idea would be that a god made us and then took off leaving us alone.
So no. Someone was just kind.

What an awesome story, it was so uplifting!! I am very sorry about your car accident, you seem very lucky to even be alive. I have struggled with my faith for a long time and I must say that although it is hard you have to trust God completely. You did want you felt that you were lead to do and God blessed you for listening to him. The lady that you gave the moeny, did want she was lead to do and God will bless her as well. It sounds like a total GOD thing! I hope that you fine from your accident.
