I read in the bible Jesus saying that," if you don't love your friend whom we see, how can you say that we love God ". Southern pastors used to own slaves and too my shock in todays era, almost all southern Baptist members they have some thing against blacks you can feel the hatred......so do they expect to be greeted with open arms in heaven ? Afterall , black and white is gonna be same level there, so how are they gonna cope up with that ?

EXCUSE ME. You do know that the reason that the Southern Baptists broke away from the Baptist church was because they felt that current slave owners should not be allowed to be missionaries because they were unrepentant in their sins.
Please do some research.

I live in the south and I am a Southern Baptist. For one, you don't see too many black Catholics, Muslims, etc in the south lol. The majority of blacks in this state are Southern Baptist. Since it seems you are trying to start a race war, you should probably know that racism exists in all ethnicities. Racist comments tend to fly in all directions, no matter what color your skin is.

Only God can be the judge. But my family is from Oklahoma and just like you describe to a "T". I have no idea how they expect to get into Heaven. I can't imagine that kind of bigotry/hatred getting into Heaven. We must pray for them.

Shut up. I am in a church that took in around 100 refugees from new orleans after Katrina hit. Fine people they are- and they stayed!
That's what the Love of God is about!

Of course they think they're going to heaven. The bible told them it was OK to have slaves in the first place. Why shouldn't they still? Because the Bible can be interpreted however any racist, masochist, psycho wishes to interpret that BOOK.

I'm sure they do. After all. The bible said nothing "against" keeping slaves. They just kinda wish things were that way again. They not angry that they're black! They're angry they not slaves!
