I had mine pulled like 2 months ago. It was the same wisdom as you but mine was swollen over the tooth,I couldnt really talk right, eat,or sleep. I went to the dentist I thought he was going to do something to the gum but he took it out.It took about 2-3 weeks for the pain to go away, but the worst is the morning after you get it removed all I can say is have some pain pills, hot tea, & soup ready....

I have never heard of a dentist having to remove part of the jaw bone for wisdom teeth. It could still be swollen. The best thing to do is put ice packs on it and take Alleve or Ibuprofen for inflammation.

Sometimes they don't come ot because their are inclined, so even dough it hurts and it feels like is coming out. You should go to your dentist and he or she is the only one that can tell you if there is enough room to come out or if you should have it removed surgically.
