WOW, you don't know what's on a guys mind, you just have to come right out and ask him. Tell him you want him to be truthful.

You broke up for a reason that was the fact that his work came before you. Has this changed for him? Have you changed to accept this in him?

He still has feelings for you its obvious. However how do you expect to find the right guy if you keep him around. Think about how you would feel if you met a great guy but his ex kept calling. I don't believe ex's can still be friends afterwards. You need to make a clean break and move on with your life or work it out with him. You need to choose because you are wasting your life away with this guy otherwise.

Honestly if I met you or him as a potential new relationship. I wouldn't be keen on the idea that you or him kept in touch. I wouldn't take you seriously. Therefore because I'm not taking either of you seriously I'd end my relationship. What I am trying to say as long as you keep him around you are fulfilling the fact that you aren't finding Mr. Right. You aren't leaving the door open for Mr. Right to be there for you.

Decide has he changed so much that he will make the time for you that you need? Or are you willing to deal with the fact he works all the time?

he's holding onto the fact that you are always available.

you are his back-up-girl.

when he feels down, or hasn't be worshiped for awhile, he'll call you up and KNOW that he has you dangling from a string.

he knows he can manipulate you.

he likes the ego boost.

he likes the power he has over you.

he doesn't like you. he likes the way you worship him, do everything he wants and never reject him when he touches/kisses you.

when he kisses you, he knows that you love him. And he likes that feeling.

he likes it because he is immature and has lower self esteem then he pretends to have.

you need to look in the mirror and KNOW that you don't need his crap anymore. Know that you deserve better. Decide not to be his fall-back-girl. Next time he calls tell him you're in just about to get in the shower with (any boys name eg Shane) and will call him back tomorrow when Shane goes home.
That'll help him wake up to reality and stop using you.

from my experience, men usually let you know what they want by their actions. if he's just coming over to kiss then maybe he just wants something physical. if he wanted a relationship then you guys wld be doing relationship stuff like going on dates etc. and he would make sure you knew it was just the two of you.
it really isn't about what he wants. it is about what you want. do you want a relationship with him? if so, then act like its and don't let him slide back into your life so easily. next time you're hanging out just tell him that you are not looking for a hang out buddy or just somethig physical. and then stand by your words.
take control of the situation.

Honestly, you need to cut off all contact with him. No one wants to get serious with someone who's still kissing her "ex" boyfriend.

Sounds like you broke up with him and he didn't break up with you.
