It depends on your situation, branch, time in service, MOS/AFSC, active or NG. I'd need more infirmation to give the correct answer.

There are legitimate legal ways to get out of the military, personally I'd admire it if you toughed it out. But it's like the saying goes: You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it shoot a gun.
And if all else fails, sleep with a guy. Telling them that you're gay won't do anything, they have to see that you explicitly violated the UCMJ.

everyone had given great answers but here is the truth, finish your tour, if you had sign up for 4 years you have about 2 1/2 left after school, time will fly by,,
what some have said or won't tell you if you get out on 2c reenlist code you may not get a good job , you will not be able to work for the post office, police /fire departments, or any federal jobs.
do NOT say that you are suicidal that will come back and bite you in the rear. where the Navy will put you in a physc ward and you will stay in longer than your 4 years.
so finish your tour,,
DO NOT get station at Norfolk,, VA,,,
In VA they treat all military like dirt,,,,
get station in Italy, Japan, or San Digeo,Ca,,

I'm sorry but it would have been LOGICAL not to go into the military in the first place if you weren't totally commited to it. Now you should just fulfill your promise to serve this country. You'll feel better about yourself afterwards. If the reason you want to get out is that you don't agree with some of our policies you should still fullfill your commitment.

It would be better if you hung in there.
If you leave it will be worse. Hang in there.

I mean you have made yer bed now sleep in it amigo. If you get to a point you cannot do anything then just walk off.
You seem Young to me and immature. Why not tough it out?
If you want to get out just go buy a big bag of weed and smoke some of it in front of the Sgt of the day or something.
Get busted and thrown out for being a weedhead.

Serve out your time honorable then get out.

There are no logical ways unless you are overtly homosexual then you would get out on a Chapter 13 undesirable discharge, but believe me it's more of a headache trying to get out now days with everything going on in Iraq and Afghannastan.

And don't look for consencious objector status. That is also a hard one to prove.

You don't say why? One can only assume since you don't say that you are afraid.I think there must be lots of soldiers that are also afraid and still find a way to face what they must do.
Maybe you could speak to a psychologist or someone who might be able to help you get through it.If you allow yourself to run away from your fears they will rule your life. Are you a christian ? maybe speaking with a Chaplin would be helpful?
I hope you ,find the right answer.Best wishes really.

The trainee discharge program [T D P] ...only if you have less than 120 days in the service....this program initiated during the Carter administration , I think it's still in operation.

Doing your time as you swore to do and with honor and valor! Otherwise, if you try to scam your way into early retirement or a discharge, it could come back to haunt you or you could very well end up serving in Fort Leavenworth! DO THE RIGHT THING!!!

Do your time and get out after. You get all the benifits and don't have to explain to future employers why you only served for so long
