I have to agree partially with captband that the brain never fully matures but there is not much difference between a male and female brain. It used to be thought that the human brain once developed as a fetus and child was incapable of any regeneration.

In recent years they have discovered brain plasticity that is that the brain cells are not static and unchanging but in continuous flux and capable of being renewed if damaged. In reality there is not much known about the human brain. I answered your question before about the development of a child's brain with a reference and suggest you read that.

Good luck in your search for knowledge of the human brain, good mental health, peace and Love!
