And what does the fact (according to Christians, it's a fact) that these people won't go to Heaven say about free will?

If belief is a choice, then please *sincerely* choose to be an atheist or a non-Christian for a day and then get back to me and tell me how that went.

Same goes for being gay or hetero. Please 'choose' the opposite for a day.

Idiots.

I think we're supposed to be just what we are supposed to be. I think part of our personality/ outlook is ingrained in us when we are born. It's just the True Christians that think those people will go to hell. I don't.

First of all everyone has free choice to choose God or not - he didn't make atheists or non Christians. Gays are another matter altogether - they didn't choose to be that way in the first place so the only thing the Church asks is that they don't have sex. I really don't know what God thinks of Gays but if He is a loving God I am sure He will understand. Who are the Christians who are saying these people won't go to heaven? A bit presumptious on their part I would say. Don't judge unless you want to be judged.

Who said God did not want us to be all of these things? And who said that people do not go to heaven? That is only the Christian point of view.

My experience is that when we die we do get judged but we see our own actions and the consequences etc... we see how we have lived with love or not etc.... That gives a wake up call. I felt nothing but love and understanding that that was my journey and there was not judgement, just insight of how much better I could have been.

Everything is connected and how we act and live impacts on all. So if we live life with love in our heart and do what comes before us with good conscience then we will always do what is right.

We were not meant to be all the same, or perfect, what would be the point. There would be nothing to experience.

Religious nuts still claim people choose to be gay. Psychologists and sociologists have found it to be not the more they do research. Only ignorant religious folk still claim this.

And many people in history never had the choice to be Christian , even today, for a variety of reasons.

I have heard the worse self-delusions that religious folks make on R&S.

Every religion in the past was just another version of the Christian God. (REALLY stupid one)

EVERYone has a choice to accept (Christian God). Wrong. Christianity is not widespread everywhere. Not everyone is illiterate due to poverty and cannot read Bible for themselves. (Oral interpretation from others is not a reliable source). There are many other religions that are a strong part of other cultures.

Hmm good question but your looking at it all wrong. If I were gay im not about to blame God for that but im given struggles in my life as others are to overcome what I have. And just because your gay or a murderer or an athiest doesnt mean your going to Hell but leave it to God to open someones heart and let them taste of heaven and see His glory and majesty. And people are put in your life for a reason. look at romans 9 "Therefore it does not depend on the man that wills but on God who has mercy" and later in the chapter "The thing molded will not say to the Molder why did you make me like this? For its the potters right to make out of the same lump of clay a vessel for honorable use and another for common use" and also "Why does God still find fault with me for who resists His will' But who are you Oh man that answers back to God" Hope this helps God bless

Oh and also for those of you quoting "the bible says its your choise of free will" Bullsh!t stop misquoting the Bible pls. John 14 Jesus said"You chose me because I chose you first" and also read Ephesians 1 and 2 "Therefore you were predestined before the foundation of the world as sons adopted through Jesus Christ out of the kind intention of His will." seriously people need to read the WHOLE bible.

I have never been atheist or gay, but I was once Non-Christian. So I had a choice to accept Christ or not, and I chose to admit that I was a sinner, in need of a Savior. It is free will that we are what we are= God does want everyone to know Christ, because He loves the world - but a gift has to be taken. How about it?

Free-will suffices that it is your CHOICE to believe/not believe or act/not act a certain way. God did not MAKE you do anything. You do have a choice in the matter. If your implying that you were born a certain way--I do not believe that either. For example, from my personal experience I have a friend who was homo-sexual. He does not contribute his lifestyle to being born that way. He instead determined that lifestyle choice on his own accord. He seems to be perfectly happy with it. At the end of the day, we ultimatley determine how we act/behave/talk/write/play etc .. .

Oh. the free will card is getting played her isn't it. Funny how "God" gave us the free will to breath air and the free will to drink water. It isn't how we're made. It's a choice. People aren't blonde, or 6 foot, or Hispanic... They choose that. They just make the choice to not be what "God" wants them to be. Such losers.

How can the world be filled with such morons? I'm completely drunk, and I follow logic better than these idiots.

well ,its a known fact that app. 7%of the human population are born gay. it is a well recorded fact through out history. with that in mind. why not let people live their lives the way it was dealed out to them. they have no choose, so lets just live and let live. the torah, bible and koran all say kill them. so much for the kind hearted, loving, forgiving gods. its time for people to start liveing by the golden rule. as i would like to be killed then i shouldn't kill. if i was born gay. then i would want people to understand that i was born that way and be free to tell the world of how i am without fear. its time we cast off these so called gods and grow up.

God didnt make anyone that way...he gaev them a CHOICE....he have people a choice to love him and accept his free gift of salvation.....he also gave people a choice to be atheist, gay, or non-Christians, he loves us too much to make us do anything....other wise there really wouldnt be a point to us (or certain people) praising him now would there? ....and if u have mroe of the questions.....why not start reading the Bible?....although some people DO call it boaring....try reading the New testament..it a little more interesting.

God's the judge, not man. Read His Word and you'll discover what He thinks about it.

Everyone sails their own ship. Repent, have a change of heart, and He forgives you. However, if you're an habitual sinner, such as a drug addict, then ask for his help to overcome it.
