I think that legal immigrants have shown their gratitude just by immigrating according to our laws, going through the necessary steps and screens, and waiting for the go ahead (sometimes very lengthy). I am glad, though, to hear legal immigrants speak out. They have the right to, and have earned the privileges that come with legal immigration... and also the privileges that come with citizenship once they have naturalized. The fact that they feel that they can comfortably speak up, alongside U.S. born citizens, is a testament to our nations full acceptance if legal immigrants.

what people like u speak with out proof is just pure propaganda . sorry , most immigrants legal or not understand the importance of having a comprehensible immigration reform .
Attitudes Toward Immigration Reform: Los Angeles County
o 62% of Asian American voters supported efforts to legalize the undocumented, including 56% of Chinese, 67% of Filipino, 72% of Japanese, and 76% of Korean American voters.
o 58% of Asian American voters opposed efforts to further criminalize the undocumented, including 53% of Chinese, 55% of Filipino, 61% of Japanese, and 69% of Korean American voters.
o 84% of Asian American voters supported efforts to reduce the immigration backlog, including 84% of Chinese, 86% of Filipino, 86% of Japanese, and 88% of Korean American voters.
im pretty sure facts are not accepted in this question and by the way u should not include the Americans either in ur statement , i know and most people know that most Americans do not like the situation but would prefer a reform ( comprehencible reform ) going through to fix the problem . want to accept the facts ??? well if u don't and want to keep talking in the name of the legal immigrants then go ahead that will not change a bit the facts and what in reallity they in fact think .
by the way accepting whatever one is told is not American if thats what u are suggesting .

My LEGAL neighbor bought his home with money he EARNED.
He has greatly improved the property he purchased. He is building his business. He works very hard and constantly. His children a very good students and his oldest son is ready to start college.
He is what Great Americans are supposed to be.
He is also grateful because he KNOWS he could NEVER have benefited from the fruits of his labors in MEXICO!
He also has a sympathetic view of illegals, but says the U.S.A. should NEVER tolerate violations of the law. It INVITES criminal activity and disrespect for America.

Yes. Legal immigrants are the noble of God's children who have obeyed the law. I would be furious if I were an immigrant who has played by the rules.

I hope so. I would hate to think that they felt that their sacrifice and struggle was in vain or irrelevant.
