i think its quite cute actually. most kids at that age just want to hold hands and kiss on the cheek

It depends on what you mean on boyfriend, if you mean as in going out on dates and having a sexual relationship; no nine years old is WAY to young for that kind of stuff. If your referring to a boyfriend in the sense were they just hang out, the girl has a crush on the guy/guy has crush on girl, teasing each other, the odd peck on the cheek or lips, then yea that's normal.

too young, despite the fact that these days some kids at 9 look like they are 15 because the way they act, dress and behave. It is kind of sad actually

It is just an innocent crush. I believe that there is nothing wrong with that because they are too young to do anything
exaggerated. The worse things they would do is hold hands or maybe a kiss on the cheek.

No...I was told I am not allowed to date till I am in college....that or if I do get a guy my brother will have to beat the **** outta them because they were flirting or hitting on his little sister

no. you are too young!!! just enjoy being a kid right now. it doesnt last that long. you'll have plenty of time to have a boyfriend in high school.
