You are correct... I would not call on any fictional deity...
I would however call the emergency number we as a family have set up outside the area where we can all check in, in the event of separation due to a natural disaster... I would grab my emergency 72 hour kit and begin making my way out of the area...
Living in an area prone to forest fires we have emergency plans in place, as every family should... When you have a plan there is no need to call out to fictional characters as you already know what to do to save yourself...
Please try again...

God don't cause natural disasters, Satan does and so does man that choose to follow satan. God may allow things to happen for a reason but he don't cause it. That's another good one sister. God Bless you!!!!! Some people just need to read the Bible more often to understand things. I know I didn't for awhile, but I am now and I'll tell you that since I have him in my life now, I am happier, calmer and more satisfied with my life. I know there is a God, but he don't cause things to happen but he allows it, FOR A REASON. GOD BLESS YOU Sister

Okay talk about far out there questions, why would you call our for Jesus, since God is all powerful why didn't he stop it, and I know you will give me some half bull crap answer about that but duh God is in everything and he was in that tornado that killed your friends.
Let me ask you this
Your a good Christian all your life and you get left behind on judgment day to burn with the rest of us, Do you call out to Jesus then?

I wouldn't.
I think you don't 'get' that Jesus is not the son of God to most people in the world. We don't feel the same way about him as you do.
It's like me asking if you would call out to Mohamed in a similar situation. Of course you wouldn't, the thought probably wouldn't even cross your mind.

Absolutely I will call on Jesus....He said ask and you shall receive......But of course you can't receive things that he knows are not good for you. A hurricane hit my town one time and I ask God to send his angels to watch over my home.....The storm knocked trees on houses around me and roofs off....There was absolutely nothing important happened to my house...An old shed next to the house was old and we wanted it down....God took it down and covered everything up so it would not blow away.... Everything else ok.....House across the street needed completely redone.....The walls needed replaced and much more.....

Most likely I would be angry at Jesus for not stopping the natural disaster and finding my dog.
God was responsible for a lot of natural disasters in the bible, so surely he and Jesus both have the power to stop natural disasters, but for what ever reason, chose not to. That would piss me off if Jesus and god were real.

Yep. Imagine that.
In fact, if I believed in Jesus, and God, and all that happened, I'd be pretty ticked off at him for letting this all happen.
I mean, He IS all powerful, right? And if He was capable of helping me.....why didn't he help me BEFORE all this bad schit happened to me?
This here Atheists remains an Atheist, even in a foxhole.

I sure would call out to Jesus, and Hosanna in the highest! I may feel all sorts of emotions, like depression and other stuff, but I'll try and remember the things God brough me out of, and He'll bring me out of that, too.
My faith may be tested in a HUGE way then, but I'll try and keep the faith and remember God has not forsaken me. God made ALL of us strong survivors. We just got to want to put our faith in Hosanna in the heighest, and remember that times wil get tough, but going through tough times makes you stronger. As for losing people we care about, it will feel worse than hail, and we'll go through deep mourning, we won't understand why they died, but we got to remember our love ones (including animals) were God's FIRST, before they became ours. He'll comfort us if we let Him. God has had a reason for our friends to not survive the storm, and He knows what's best for us than we know ourselves. He wants us to constantly rely on Him for our needs, and He'll meet them according to His riches. As long as you have God on your side, and let Hosanna in the highest and our Heavenly King Jesus be on your side, and put complete faith in Him, He'll take care of you. But we're not going to get instant gratification most of the time, because how will our faith and love for God grow if we're always getting things we want/need up and front? God wants us to reasons to not forsaken Him and want us to use tough situations for Him to show us how strong of survivors we are. If someone dies in the natural disaster, it was not that they were not strong survivors; it was just not in their will to live longer.
I would do the serenity prayer. Asking God to grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot, courage to change what I can, and give me wisdom to know the difference. That prayer is NOT just for people struggling with alcohol/substance abuse. It's for everyone!
Bless you! I love you, a ranbow of
((((HUGS & HOLY KISSES))))))) for you, Sister!

Nope. He never helps when I stub my toe. Why would he help then. Better yet, next time you feel like you need him, don't call out. You'll see that all, still, will work out for you.
Sorry I'm drunk
