I am not going to be of any assistance to you in the matter of religion and/or faith, I'm afraid, because I am agnostic and can find absolutely NOTHING in religion which makes me like it and many many reasons to dislike religions:
1) For example: the Muslim Sudanese rioters calling for the execution of a British school teacher who allowed her young students to name a toy bear Mohammed!
2) Christians who are intolerant of nonbelievers and are only interested in attempting to terrorize nontheists into the faith with horror tales of Hell!
3) Fundamentalists of all religions who want to fight anyone with another belief system and are constantly at war with each other, spreading hatred in the world in the names of their "leaders"!
4) Medieval behavior by the "devout" in the Space Age!
Our civilization, if it were truly that, should have advanced beyond the Stone Age of tribal religions by now!

Religion is not as important as being Christian. Having a personal relationship with God is the reason for both. I find going to church a good way to find out Gods rules, and wishes for us. The way a Pastor can explain a verse can be very eye opening and helps you remember it too. I also like knowing that other people have the same belief's as I do. It is a comfort and can be supportive.

I would die for it.....God said those that are not his are blinded...so you won't know until you accept his son as your savior and believe what he says....It is an exciting way to live....And he is so faithful....One time I was at the alter praying and a supernatural hand lay on my shoulder and no one around me....and the thought ran through my mind, peace be still I am with you. That meant a lot to me.....God is great and greatly to be praised....There is a place in the spirit you can actually be intoxicated with the spirit.....drunk in the spirit of God...See you that don't walk with the Lord and make fun of it so you will never experience these things

Security. Knowing that there's a better world one day. Things are getting so bad here, and the rivers, streams, and everything is getting so polluted, it can't last forever! It seems like there's so much evil around us, and now with the terrorists....what more can I say....

I dislike the word religion. It makes me think of the Pharisees in the Bible, and of check lists and rules and regulations. In my relationship with God, I found truth, which was accompanied by peace, happiness, and faith in my own salvation.

I feel a deep, personal connection to my Gods, and I feel positive about the life I have chosen and the choices I make resulting from that path.

It makes them feel like there is hope in such a untamed world, if there are leaders there must be followers, it's all good!
