I'm already employed and studying at uni but am hoping to pick up extra work throughout the summer holidays. The position I'm applying for is bar work- pouring drinks etc. I've read a few answers to other similar questions, but generally for bar work I've found places like their girls to be attractive, so I thought it wouldnt be a bad idea to include a head shot. So photo or not? What do you think?

I'd say due to the nature of the job, sending a head shot couldn't hurt your chances but improve them. Especially if you're easy on the eyes : ) You're applying for a position that is customer service related and also sales related. It's all about presentation and good looks sell it's a fact!

I suggest that you include a photo in resumes sent to
potential jobs where appearance would be a factor
in the selection.

Make sure that the photo was taken a professional
( or at least an experienced ) photographer.

Normally I'd say no to a photo on a resume, but for bar work would probably be OK.
