The TC Encore
Single-shot, break-open action. Monte Carlo-style stock w/rubber butt pad. Drilled & tapped. Recoil pad. Sling swivel studs. Automatic hammer block. Adjustable trigger. Hammer spur. Interchangeable barrel. Wt.: 6.7 lbs.
Lists for $706.49
The Pro Hunter .300 win mag is not available yet. The .25-06 has the camo stock and stainless fluted barrel.
The Leupold VX-II will hold up to the shock or consider a KonusPro for less money.

the Contender can purely handle low rigidity cartridges, on an identical time as the Encore can shoot intense rigidity cartridges besides as low rigidity. in case you opt to shoot low rigidity rounds like 35 Remington, forty 5-70, or 30-30, then the Contender is high quality. The Encore can hearth maximum cutting-part intense rigidity cartridges.

For your purpose all you really need is a 30-06 or 308 caliber, not the 300 W-Mag.*

The Encore is a very nice rifle. Extremely accurate, like All TC firearms I have fired.

A TC firearm is often more than many other brands, but I feel they are worth it. I will be buying my 6th TC firearm soon.
