perhaps some are coming from the devil but the vast majority come from the fact you are robed in flesh which is sinful

the race, that is humans, are born sinners because adam sinned. your natural state is that of a sinner. before God you are held accountable for your sin regardless of what you think one way or the other about Jesus.

if you accept Jesus, then your sins are forgiven and you may suffer the consequences but not the eternal punishment of them. for example, run above the speed limit and you get a ticket.

I think the devil is only able to fan the spark of desires in us, whether it is to whack a skater on the knee so that another gets gold at the olympics or a banker steals from his employer, the core of our desire resides in us,

while that is not a percentage, i'm not sure we can really ever know that.

I think the devil is given way too much credit in this area. Can you see the next step. I was not responsible for my actions because they were based on my thoughts which were not my own THEY WERE THE DEVILS.

This man your Honor is found innocent of 100 murders because we have proven it was not him, but it was in fact THE DEVIL who made him do these things--who planted those awful ideas in his misguided head.

Your thoughts are yours. How you conduct yourself is the product of your own intention. Because nothing will happen without first having an intention to do it, right?

This "intention" , you, the heart of you. It is influence only by desire or intelligence. You want something, you desire it. You thought of something, you analyse it, your intellect came into play. Within us, there is a built-in "instinct" to recognise what is wrong, what is right. What is just, what is unjust
Some say, this is the spiritual you, the Spirit, that connects you to God.
And so all of this takes place in the heart of men, you can imagine like two minister trying to convince a king as to what his decisions are.... and the other element, is this, Angels will council the right of things, to this two, intelligence and desire, and Devils will also make his council known, to the said two, to what is the opposite. But The King, or Queen (you), if you are a girl, will have to decide which one to follow. We can never really felt it, unless we truly meditate and look deep into our own hearts. To know which is the right path, is the path we must undertake, to seek for it. What path is the right path? Right or Left? Highways or byways? A Path that is steep going up or the Path the meadering down? By what values do we know if its the true right path, or is it a lie still? What will it takes for us to know what kind values that will hold the highest standard of truth? Its like trying to see. Can we can see clearly in a dark place full of cobwebs? Or would we rather see something in an open space full of sunlight.? How are we to know anything about it? That's why there are religions. That is where the true light of understanding can be acquire, seek and your shall find. This light, this guidance is what God has promised to us since the beginning of time. The light that distinguish. We can never know unless being told by the One who knew us best, The Creator. The Books of God is not mere books. The Torah, The Bible and The Holy Quran bears the same message, it will completely be up to you to decide. That is where the truth shall be found. The Devil can do naught if you are truly sincere to yourself.

And, behold, one came and said unto him (Jesus), "Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?" And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but One, that is God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the Commandments.-(MATTHEW 19:16-17).

And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you Another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.
(HOLY BIBLE) John 14: 16

Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
(HOLY BIBLE) John 16:7

061.006 And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah (sent) to you, confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs, they said, "this is evident sorcery!"
Al-Qur'an, 061.006 (As-Saff [The Ranks])

As much as you allow...
Satan cannot read our thoughts. He can, however, read our countenances, which can almost be the same as reading our thoughts. Our auras, or countenances, display the feelings and emotions of our souls. God see them, angels see them, and Satan sees them. Even very sensitive people here can see them. We can protect ourselves by controlling our thoughts, by allowing the light of Christ to enter our lives. As we do this, the light of Christ will shine through us and will actually appear in our countenances.

You'll have to tell us each of your evil thoughts, and we'll judge case-by-case. Start with the ones about dirty sex, okay?
