My wife died last year and she always wanted to race, but couldn't because of her heart. I've never had any interest, but I keep thinking about it because she never got to do it.. When I told people I was thinking about this, they go "You don't even like to drive a car... " well true, I dont'. Why do I feel so compelled to complete my wife's dream, it's just crazy..

Become a car owner and let an aspiring young woman driver fulfill your wife's dream for her. I think she might look down and approve.

Hey, bro you have to do what you heart says..It has to be in you to be a race car driver, don't do just because your wife wanted to race..Go to a Richard Petty race experience, or go to some races, you have to really feel it in your heart. My dad had me in go-karts and local tracks, (yes I was the son he never had) yep I could have done it but, I was into the photo part I loved capturing a race with the camera...also alot depends on your age..Think and search your heart out, just because she couldn'd do it.. Theres a lot of money involved, Hey go be fan, who was her favorite driver, this is a deep dream, I'm not saying its crazy..You can always carry her spirit on with each race you view on TV or go to the races..I lost my mom last yr, she supported my dad and all his race buddies, Ralph Earnhardt, Buck Baker,Curtis Turner, Elmo Langley etc she was never in it but she supported my dad..But she always brought dinner in the garage and this little ole blonde haired 6 y/o me was out there with them working on the cars. You need to some races experience since you from what you are saying that you were not into ..Its a dream..you never know, you might just enjoy being a fan in her memory...

I agree with beth, start up a team and get a young driver who wants to race but hasn't had the luck of getting a car.
