You need to have a talk with the sales manager
There are do not call laws that have changed the whole picture for cold calling
What are the methods they are using to process leads?
Do they give new salesmen old leads from gone salespeople?
Yes, you'll get walkins, but there has to be other leads they work with. Sounds as tho the internet leads go to internet sales people?
Sometimes you have to be willing to do a little more than the average to succeed.
Rent "The Pursuit of Happyness".
It shows the price of doing extra in sales to succeed.
Jeffrey Gitomer's books are also good, especially the red ones.
Tom Hopkins books are tried & true.
Try to work within the framework of how Chrysler sells their vehicles.

Hi Joshua. The more people you know, the more potential customers who know you! You need to consistently participate in as many civic, volunteer, and business activities in your community as possible.

Every month your chamber of commerce has a 'mixer' - attend it and get to know people there. Also volunteer to serve on one or more chamber committees. (When you volunteer, show up and do the work!)

Join one or more local civic organizations - Lions, Rotary, Kiwanis, etc. Again volunteer on committees and get to know everyone through your regular participation.

Get involved in local charities. Red Cross. Boy Scouts. YMCA. American Cancer Society. etc. etc. Again - participate regularly and get to know lots of people.

As you build your 'referral network' of contacts from all these wonderful people you are working with on a daily basis at the chamber, civic groups, and charitable organizations, you can begin to keep in touch with each of them with a monthly business phone call. A friendly, non-pushy, phone call to INFORM THEM of special deals, new vehicles, special finance offers, etc. that you have available.

If you get to know 100 people by their first name and call them every month, you will build a base of 100 people that not only may buy from you one day, but they also will refer their friends and family to their friend (you!) when those friends need a new car.

You can expand your contacts with this 'contact list' by sending birthday cards, holiday cards, and 'just for fun cause I'm thinking of you' cards. You might even consider a monthly or quarterly newsletter one you have built your potential client list!
Best wishes and good luck.

You deliver out birthday enjoying cards and yuletide enjoying cards. The dealership has a style of books with all those addresses in them( I worked at a Cadillac, Pontiac, GMC) dealership for some years, i comprehend their gimmicks, and that they artwork, to a level.deliver the cardboard and tell them to ask for you.
