I'm basically agnostic/deistic/Biblical Unitarian/Christian but I dunno if I should stay. The constant arguing just seems unproductive. But I'm closing in on level 7 so..... I dunno maybe I should stay.

I used to be a regular and actually just came over here to cuz I haven't checked it in a while. I got fed up with all the stupidity. Disagreement and discussion are one thing, but it began to become more like a big joke and a way to attack others beliefs. I found too many people from all groups/beliefs that were rude and antagonistic toward others and couldn't present their views in a respectful or intelligent manner.

If I want intelligent or helpful information, this isn't where I look. If you're unsure of your beliefs, I don't recommend using R&S as a method of evaluating your beliefs. Too much bias, inaccurate information, and just plain rudeness to be very productive.

If you want to try and navigate around all the immaturity, go ahead, but take every thing you read on here with a grain of salt, and realize you probably aren't getting a very accurate view of religion or lack thereof. Just move to another section and get you point.

You should stay. In every unproductive Q&A, there is one small bit of wisdom. For me, the answers that tick me off the most are probably the ones that help me the most. They make me want to study and learn and grow so that I have well-thought-out, intelligible answers/comebacks for the ones who disagree with me. They make me remember why it is I believe what I do.
Then there are the days I need to feel some camraderie, and I can find it here. I might not believe exactly the same as everyone here, but there are kind and wonderful people here. There are people who are tolerant, and wise, and insightful. Stay for those people... and because you are one of them.

Why not stay? You may find something interesting, or something that you feel strongly about.

Nobody is going to make you stay or leave. If you leave, we will never get to read your own thoughts, insights, etc. Someone may get a breath of fresh air, or a chuckle, or just some kind of boost after reading what you have to say. Try it for a few days and then decide. I wish you success in whatever decision you make.
