because not only do they NOT have to do research on their own, they also get attention for their question or predicament, which is important. It's good for people to reach out and re-affirm and confirm with other human beings. Even if the same question gets asked a million times, it's important to EACH INDIVIDUAL to get individual attention. Not to mention personal experiences from others, and a bit of a kick in the pants every now and again for asking a stupid question.
but I don't want to answer why so many girls have to post the "AM I PRETTY" questions..that's just too much to handle!

It's a place where we can get answers?
It's a place where we can watch others get busted?
It's a place where we can get a pat on the back?
It's a place where we can pat somebody on the back?
It's a place where we can get out of confusion?

Many reason, but most of all, its a place for the lost souls looking for guidance, sister. And here, no matter from which belief you came, there are answers to be had, qustions to be asked. Confusion to be cleared. Knowing what we previously never knew.

I NEED THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! Please don't ruin it for me or anyone else. If i cant come here i will get fat on junk food and die!!! you don't want that on your conscious do you? WELL! DO YOU???? Besides my favorite show isn't on tonight and i don't have anything....Hey wait a minute! I think.... i know the answer to this question! Um....because thats what this site is for...DUH!! And cause some people need answers to questions that they are to scared to as in person.
