"I am the way the truth and the life, no man can come unto the Father except by me...", Seeing how jesus made this statement how can anyone think there is any other way to God?

Well, it all comes down to whether folks are really seeking the truth of all things and are willing to really explore to find them.

On the surface, many will just dismiss the existence of God or at least the God of the Bible and also that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.

The fact of the matter is what people are REALLY seeking. If they just dismiss God and that Jesus died for our sins because it does not "feel" right to them then one might wonder if they are really not interested in seeking ultimate truth.

All I can say is that I have personally experienced and been witness to things I cannot explain when they were done in the Name of Jesus and that are consistent with what we read in the Bible.

There is a story about a British criminal who was being read his last rites as he was being led to the gallows. The criminal first criticized the chaplain for his lack of faith, but then went on to say "If what you are saying is true, and I don't believe it is, I would crawl on broken glass across all of England just to save one person!"

No only truly believing in Jesus and God will get you to the place you need to go

I cant believe all the negative comments your getting back, Is something wrong with you people are you that egotistical that you think you were the highest power to be made and there is nothing that created the universe and its inhabitants?

Jesus and God are real, But you are entitled to your opinion. Just wans't expecting to be preaching to atheists in this comment.

Someone tried to explain it to me like this -
Maybe it's more complicated than that. Maybe it isn't that they who disagree with this don't always believe that there is a different way to God - it may be that they just found out that they are goats and have been rejected by Jesus and must go into the everlasting fire - remember, Jesus divided the sheep (His faithful flock) from the goats.

It's like that yall...

sweat sweaty Jane; Matthew was written in 41 C.E.
In Hebrew;;

Matthew wrote his account in Palestine. The exact year is not known, but subscriptions at the end of some manuscripts (all later than the tenth century C.E.) say that it was 41 C.E. There is evidence to indicate that Matthew originally wrote his Gospel in the popular Hebrew of the time and later translated it into Greek. In his work De viris inlustribus (Concerning Illustrious Men), chapter III, Jerome says: “Matthew, who is also Levi, and who from a publican came to be an apostle, first of all composed a Gospel of Christ in Judaea in the Hebrew language and characters for the benefit of those of the circumcision who had believed.” Jerome adds that the Hebrew text of this Gospel was preserved in his day (fourth and fifth centuries C.E.) in the library that Pamphilus had collected in Caesarea.

Unfortunately, many religions teach things that are contrary to what the Bible clearly states. As an example, at Matthew 23:8-12 Jesus clearly showed that true Christianity would not use lofty titles like Rabbi, Father, or Leader. He also said "whoever exalts himself will be humbled."

Yet we find, particularly in Christendom's churches, that the use of lofty titles is commonplace. Catholics even use the term 'Father' when referring to some in the clergy class. Unless I'm mistaken, Jesus just said not to do that...

Kind of funny the way God says call me I AM and Jesus says I AM. I think you are a little betrayed by the wording though. By this statement he means that no man can come to God except by following the written word of God. Jesus was the living embodiment of the word on earth but at no time did he ever ask anyone to follow him. he wants us to follow the word of God not the man Jesus. Follow his example YES but worship him NO.

for a time the word of God wasn't read by the common folk. so who ever had the word then used it to their own interpretation thats when the church divided into countless different religions. you see, God word is perfect but when men try to change it that's where the trouble starts. groups get broken up to start new ones, till its a religion where lead by man and later corrupted by man. to this day there is no true religions that follow the word of God they all deviate from it. in Gods word states, wow to him who puts his trust in man, and judge all spirits, for any man can say, LORD, MY LORD.
take care and GB

People think there's other ways to God because they believe Jesus to be too exclusive. They don't want to accept Jesus is the only way to God so they look to other ways.

If you trusted your I am you'd know how.

It has never been a matter of how we honor God.
It has always been a matter of how we never dishonor God

The Golden Rule: "do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

From the Lord's prayer: " and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us"

Hell is going to have a large population. Believing is self can only lead to personal destruction. Don't kid yourself, Jesus and God do exist, and waiting until you die to find out for sure won't be a pleasant experience.
